I voted and have told all wrestling fans I know to vote. Most of them favor Lita so I hope she wins.

  • WweLitafan4ever

I loved the Lita/Stephanie main event

  • SherriShepherdWWE

Trish all the way, Diva of the Decade :)

    • The K@rmic HeeL

Lita was also voted as Diva of the Decade here at Diva Dirt. So both women share those titles. Not to brag, but I consider DivaDirt’s award more valuable as it comes from real fans of all aspect of womens wrestling. It is a great honor for Lita to hold such a prestigious title.

      • SherriShepherdWWE

hahahhahahhahahahahah wow that is pathetic, TRish received that on National television and is called WWE DIVA OF THE DECADE, and diva dirt gave Trish the Legacy award, so that really trumps everything i guess

      • The K@rmic HeeL

My bad it is actually woman of the decade she won and was FAN VOTED! First ever too! What an amazing accomplishment! XD Go Lita!

        • SherriShepherdWWE

LOL wow an award voted by alittle over 5000 people hahha, that definately something to proud of, i bet Lita tells everyone that she is DIva Dirt Women of the Decade lol

        • perceval

You realize if you did a random poll among the current WWE audience, they’d vote Kelly Kelly as the greatest woman wrestler of all time (and John Cena as the greatest male wrestler of all time), right?

        • norisclouds

@PERCEVAL, SHERRISHEPERDWWE why are you guys being so butt hurt about it? I’ll say the same to anyone that whines if Lita loses tomorrow too…really who the fuck cares about this? People have fans and you guys take it as if your opinion is suddenly invalidated because someone disagrees with your worldview. Relax. They were both impactful and changed the business.

        • Jhonmarco

I actually agree with norisclouds here. I’m pulling for Trish personally, but Lita winning would be more than fine.

      • The K@rmic HeeL

You’ve always been ridiculously biased SSF and its pretty disgusting. If it was voted by 5000 or 500 fans it is still far better than one voted by one person, Vince McMahon. Atleast Woman Of The Decade Award was voted on by actual people as opposed to a very arrogant and questionably insane man that gave a meaningless award to Trish cause she barks like a dog for him.

I could care less if it was given on TV, that means shyt to me if it wasn’t genuine. In fact let them give her more awards, they’ll mean nothing but here I can come up with some I’m sure you’ll like.

Glorified Barbie Award – Trish Stratus
Most Overrated WWE Diva Ever – Trish Stratus
Self Centered Diva of the Decade – Trish Stratus
The Diva Everyone Loves Because She’s Hottest Award – Trish Stratus

Yea..there’s a lot more where those came from.

        • http://au.groups.yahoo.com/group/WWE_Divas/ art

@The K@rmic HeeL couldn’t agree more trish is the most over rated diva of all time besides sunny of course…

    • divafan

      Trish all the way baby!

  • norisclouds

Whatever the results are, I think it’s cool that these two ladies made such a great impact and have so many fans that even to this day both camps fight it out over who is better. The fans continue this feud even 6 years after their retirements. So, cheers to all and appreciate both women and their contributions to WWE and wrestling.

  • litafan2000

    Lita has my vote!

  • ssilva872

Good video; I have that shirt. :p

So happy one of them is winning.

I really hope it is Lita however it’s a win win since Trish is a close second on my favorite women wrestlers of all time [Lita is # 1; duh]!

  • perceval

The two best ever. If one is objective, one has to pick Trish.

  • WweLitafan4ever

    Lita got my vote

  • Jcott3

Can you really go wrong with either one of them? If I had to pick one, I’d go with Lita. WWE was always hyping Trish, even when she was just a manager (take a look at T&A’s entrance video and look at how big the shots of Trish are compared to Test & Albert). Lita got over on her own when she was with Essa Rios THEN WWE got behind her, putting her with the Hardys.

  • EVEROCKS

    lita!!

  • Gleekout

    Lita all the way!

  • bromero329

trish stratus. she feuded with everyone! she won the hardcore championship on raw. she is one of the best heel divas ever!!!!

    shes sexy

i love lita too but trish is my #1diva of all time.

  • aldo

Lita. Definitely she has to win! :D

  • cwoww

    Let’s go Trish!!!!

  • http://twitter.com/RyanRoman0 Ryan

I would deff give it to Trish. Shes like a Universal Diva..no matter with WHO u put her with she always gave u a great match!! She was tough as nails. Packed so much courage and bravery! She was a real Champion. And oh oh…sexy as hell! Loved her in 2005 when she was bad haha
Guys check out her whole fling with Vicera from where he saves Trish from Kane n Lita to the Date with Trish n Vicera, to where he fails to defeat Kane, Trish takes a crutch/chair shot to the head and fingers OUCH! and lastly as much as I hate seeing a man force and beat on a woman..he destroys her and she had it comming lol..

  • WWFoverWWE

    Go Trish!!!

  • http://Twitter.com/LitHarmony TrishMelinaFan

People need to cut the crap. The best Diva in the company ever is arguably Trish Stratus. Obviously everyone likes their own cup of tea, but when you go beyond ‘pop size’ or ‘likablility’ or whatever other type of BS argument and you look at what really determines a great star, which is accomplishments and reasons behind these accomplishments, Trish is in a category of her own.

You can say it was because management pushed her to the stars on their own accord, but why do you think they were so behind her for it? Trish was an outstanding worker off and on-screen. You can also say it was because of timing due to Lita’s injuries- that I’ll give you. But beyond this there is no other argument to be made for Lita.

Trish was given the ball and ran with it until she became WWE’s best Diva ever.

    • The K@rmic HeeL

I say the same for the ridiculous Trish fans, well some of you…
One thing that annoys me greatly is that because Trish has so many scripted accolades(yes this means it was all planned), she’s thought of as the great messiah of women’s wrestling. Also because she was prettier than Lita by conventional standards and she wrestled good, she’s perfect and irreplaceable.

The fact of the matter is that Trish was cheered throughout most of her career because the fans thought she was hot, which I guess is fair, but Lita was always respected for her skills by fans and talent alike. She was equally if not more hard working than Trish. Lita wasn’t concerned for getting title after title, that is never the main goal of a real pro wrestler. Lita cared about entertaining the fans and the writers general attitude was that she didn’t need titles, because she was already a mega star when compared to the other divas and most male superstars.

Lita has always been more captivating to watch than Trish and that is the bottom line. Throw as many scripted titles as you want for Trish’es defense, but no one really cares about that except hardcore diva fans. Most people remember a superstar for their passion and prescense. Lita was a big part of RAW for many years and associated with higher ratings like during her return and tag match on RAW. People tuned in for her more than the other girls and that includes Trish I’m sad to say. No number of scripted womens titles is going to win that argument because its cold hard facts.

      • http://bleacherreport.com/users/200984-chris-b TrishMelinaFan

Yes, the fact that Trish is hot is totally the reason why she was cheered… Because she didn’t contest the best matches in WWE’s history for five years of her life…

And as far as being more ‘captivating,’ that’s all opinion. YOU can think she was more ‘captivating,’ but it’s cold hard facts that Trish accomplished more and that there are reasons for those accomplishments beyond the old management and Vince McMahon argument.

And I for one never tuned in to see Lita during her heel run. It was all Trish and Mickie at that point.

        • The K@rmic HeeL

Well it might seem like a tired argument, but it is a valid one. Just because Trish has so many titles doesn’t mean she’s better. I remember people calling her Triple Trish because she was being shoved down our throats like HHH was. Yes I remember Mickie and Trish. I also vividly recall people being so sick of Trish at this point and as we know, it wasn’t only on the internet. The fans at Wrestlemania were not going to sit around and cheer for Trish anymore and they let the WWE know about it when they practically booed her out of the building that night.

We know Mickie James made that storyline what it was. She made it more memorable than most rivalries Trish had had by that point. The casual fans wouldn’t be able to point out Trish’es feuds save for the Lita and Mickie ones. Its only the Trish fans that do. Mickie was that talented of an actress, I’m sorry but I just can’t say the same for Trish as much as I want to. She is pretty cringeworthy. If you don’t believe me, check out Bounty Hunters.

        • Jhonmarco

LOL at Trish’s acting being cringeworthy. Yeah that’s why she had a beautiful heel run and given so much mic time. So your arguement for Trish being pushed is she’s pretty? Let’s forget her strides in the ring and how management was impressed with her willing to bump in her early years. She was a wonderful babyface and brilliant heel. Memorbale feuds? Great one against Victoria, as well with Lita and Mickie James. The one with Jazz was good as well. If we’re gonna go down the route of memorable feuds, enlighten me. How many does Amy Dumas have? LOL I’m not bashing Lita at all, but to discredit Trish completely by stating that she was just pretty and cringeworthy at that is disrespectful to her and her legacy.

        • The K@rmic HeeL

Lita had several rivalries throughout her career, the more notable ones would be Dean Malenko, Trish Stratus, Molly Holly, Kane, Snitsky, Matt Hardy and very involved with John Cena and Edge. We know that she had shorter rivalries with Chyna, Jacqueline, Ivory, and Mickie James.

I’m not saying all of Trish was cringeworthy only her horrible acting. She’s more successful when she plays something closer to herself, much like her heel self absorbed self.

In as much as Trish had her memorable feuds, let’s not forget that Molly Holly and Victoria were equally instrumental in making them as memorable. It was as much theirs as it was Trish’es.

      • bluejay

Trish’s popularity was superficial in 2005 because fans were getting tired of her and she was shoved down people’s throats she was still popular in WWE’s eyes but not to the fans. What also got on fans nerves was when Trish was winning every match and was treated like a superwoman of wrestling. The cheers got less and less and I remember that Candice Michelle was getting more pop from the fans then Trish at one point. Trish’s favorability comes when she plays the underdog like with Jazz and Molly Holly not when she plays undefeated superwoman. When she returned last year there were a good number of fans that were pissed when she won over Lay-Cool last year and they got burned out by Trish. Fans were starting to move one and they wanted to see more Kharma and less Trish Stratus. Mickie was exciting and unpredicatable and the fans loved her for it they turned on Trish because they saw Mickie as the future. Mickie was more charismatic and she had shock value which helped revived the division.

    • donnazz

On paper, John Cena has more accolades listed next to his name than say Shawn Michaels. But in actuality, you’d be hard pressed to find a fan, who actually lived through both eras of the individual performers, who would say Cena is better than HBK, with a straight face.
Lita vs. Trish as Who’s the Greatest Raw Diva comes down to each person’s own opinions. Both had/still have their own fans, who will clearly defend them until the end of days. Both have changed Women’s Wrestling, where we still see glimpses of shimmer in Diva’s today. If either of these women won, I would be happy.
Cold hard facts: title numbers don’t equate greatness. At least, not in wrestling.

People using scripted award wins in wwe to defend trish LOL…like how wwe changed the poll to give over rated trish the win…..
    Lita was a game changer..

  • litadebora

    Lita all the way!!!!

  • trishstratusfan4ever

trish has haters.iI pick her.hatin fans

  • redsandman99

No matter who wins, there will be one section of the comments for immature gloating and the other for immature hating.

  • bluejay

Lita in my opinion deserves it because unlike Trish the fans gravitated to Lita for what she was. She was more popular than Trish and has brought more interest to the women’s division before Trish even started to learn how to wrestle. I think Lita’s accomplishments does not get as much praise as Trish’s because of politics. WWE favors who they want and they have always favored Trish from the beginning when it comes to booking, awards and cover spreads. Even with Trish retired for six years they still keep her as this untouchable diva. She was marketable but Lita had the popularity and influence and hardcore fanbase from men that no other diva really had. When I talk to wrestling male fans they really look at Trish more as sex symbol and that she was the first wresting babe crush. She did work hard but Trish’s legacy to most male fans is her being so hot!

Lita on the other hand was loved for her abilities by the hardcore male fanbase. She proved that woman did not have be consider hot in conventional standards but for how they carried themselves. Lita was so popular she did not need the title to be relevant whereas with Trish needed it because she had no unique abilities or style besides her looks.

    Lita hands down!

    • The K@rmic HeeL

Great post and excellent points. You can really see that and several women have mentioned Lita as being their role model as far as who influenced them. I loved that Sherri Martel before she died in an old interview, she noted Lita as being a good worker.

Lita truly inspired a generation of women wrestlers. For the woman who has dreams of becoming successful in WWE for her hard work rather than how hot one looks. Beth, Maria, AJ, Mickie James, Melina, and Alicia Fox have praised Lita for her contributions to women’s wrestling.

On the other hand you have women like Candice Michelle, Kelly, Maryse, and Madison Rayne who look up to Trish.

I like them both, but Lita is superior.

    • WweLitafan4ever

BLUEJAY wrote some great points. True that

  • ETR

I really hate it when Lita fans try to undermise Trish’s accomplishments, please peple she deserves them, stop bashing the woman, she’s great, she has so much passion, she keeps appearing , she trys her best to give young girls a role model…
My vote goes to Lita, I really think she’s the most influential diva in raw history, but please, so making it seem like Trish wasn’t good enough, she was great

    • The K@rmic HeeL

I’m sorry but this goes both ways. A lot of Trish fans are trying to undermise Lita’s own influence and importance to RAW and WWE as a whole. Some of things that are being said are insulting to the generations of fans who grew up looking up to her and loving her for representing the people and especially the women of the real world. That itself is a priceless accomplishment to me and trumps any trophy or titles anyone could ever get in a wrestling show. That is the ultimate honor any woman in wrestling could receive. Thank you Lita for not only risking your life in the ring every week to entertain us, but thank you for showing young women all over the world that you don’t have to have super model looks to be successful and to accomplish your dreams.
