Last weeks spoilers were:
Santino Marella and Layla beat Antonio Cesaro and Aksana in a mixed tag. Layla pinned Aksana after a kick to the head.
and that match was never shown, hopefully this one is.
Now that Kharma confirmed her release on twitter today, wwe will start a proper women’s feud now that they’e not waiting for her to return.

Unfortunately last weeks match was a dark match and this weeks were the same. -_-
Was already wondering because I knew that they didn’t allow Layla to use her spinning roundhouse kick signature/finisher for years. :/
Oh well… at least we had nxt this week.

Funny thing was I dont think that match actually happened. Because they also had Tyson vs. Cody and Cody just like Santino was in a different match for Superstars

i kinda figured they taped two weeks worth of superstars last week as they wouldn’t have time for any superstars tapings with the 1000episode celebrations this week.. hope we get to see both of the matches eventually, though.

Even though Kharma’s gone I feel like I can come to peace now because it’s actually confirmed, and at the same time it’s not an entirely bad thing because she wouldn’t have much to work with, at least not yet, which brings me to the future of the divas’ division and who Layla’s new feud can be with. FCW/NXT has a slough of talent that can be brought in to reinvigorate the vapid living dead zombie of a division with new dynamic characters and skilled wrestlers, but as far as an immediate solution that can carry over into a long-term remedy over time I think the person Layla should feud with needs to be with someone whose brand new and can take the division by storm in such a way that the entire division gets job started!

Yeah, Layla needs to feud and lose to Kaitlyn, with this happening ASAP and Kaitlyn defeating her soundly in her first ever title shot. Layla is stale and boring and Kaitlyn is fresh and exciting and full of both power and finesse moves…

In my opinion, the only reason Vince McMahon would sign The Beautiful People is to job them out to LayCool.
The only chance for Angelina/Velvet to be used right in WWE is if they rehired Vince Russo.

I hope this match gets time because these two can put on an amazing match….i do want to see tamina vs layla as well maybe on nxt/fcw…..layla needs a new feud why not tamina….

Layla needs a next challenger for the belt, anyone besides beth phoenix (as much as i love her but its been done to death), i would like to see layla face Natalya, Alicia Fox, Tamina, AJ, or Eve Torres for the title.

Anyway, I’d like to hope that the ‘WWE Universe’ almost wanting to see the Divas title defended over the Intercontinental title last Raw, might have put some new confidence in the Divas.
But imagine if the Divas title had have actually won.. Christian would still be IC champion, and Layla would probably have lost her title.

I think that that pool was not real, I think WWE putted want they wanted, because the results were not real at all, they were to close, and we all know that the IC Championship would be much more higer then the other too!

Yeah, I’m always suspicious about WWE polls, but I’ve heard former employees say that most of the polls are legit.
But with the stakes of Raw 1000 higher than normal, I wouldn’t be surprised if they did rig this particular poll. That said, the numbers they gave were believable (although I would have expected Santino to have done a little better).
I think whoever made the poll, probably would have expected the IC title to win easily (given how little credibility the Diva’s and US titles have nowadays). Given how close it was between the IC and Divas, it’s definitely possible they fiddled with the results. Possibly they didn’t realize how strong the Diva fan support might be.

WWE rigged the polls like they do all the time. I mean I was on Twitter on that day and I see everyone voting for the Divas instead of the IC title. If Layla won the poll and defended the title – I think she would’ve retained cos there aren’t many other Divas ready for the title shot yet.

I’m telling you…. they need to have Vickie rob Layla of the title and let her parade around with it for a few months not defending it or doing some BS matches like they did w/ Stephanie years ago. This will make people give a damn about the title when someone finally gets it off of her.

That’s an idea that I’ve been hoping could happen for a while now because right now there really isn’t anyone one how Layla can drop the title too in an interesting way. At least with Vickie, you can do good storylines with the title to get it attention again especially with this “Queen Diva” gimmick she’s sporting now!

great idea. vickie seems to be on tv pretty much every damn week, so when there’s times they don’t bother with the diva division, at least the title will still get air time if it was on her.
even if they don’t go the route of giving her the title, she definitely needs to go back to involving herself with the ladies.. the ordinary, happy-go-lucky fans only really seemed to gain an interest in laycool once vickie semi-aligned herself with ‘em. ..just look at what vickie did for kaitlyn on nxt!

Once again for the second week in a row the Divas were edited off superstars, this match did not appear on the show just like the mixed tag match last week didn’t appear

I doubt AJ will be next in line for the title cos she’s the new GM. Its prob gonna be Eve Torres since she’s be on RAW for the last couple of weeks. But Eve needs a win ASAP!

I wish they would at least make the edited matches still available online like on youtube or something… But it’s okay, we got some shitty wrestlers that make sporadic appearances that have no relevance or storylines instead!!! :/

Putting the title on her was the biggest mistake they could ever do. They need to put the title on AJ or someone else they actually have confidence in. Sucks that they keep editing Diva matches out, but isn’t this like the second time it’s been Layla’s? Are the reports coming back that the matches are bad?

I doubt Layla and Natalya of all divas would make a match bad enough they had to edit them out. Natalya makes every diva look like a pro and Layla is better than a good number of the divas Natalya carried.
