It seems that Diva fans may be one step closer to finally attaining some sort of merchandise related solely to the females, as WWE has begun surveying fans on which potential DVD titles they would be interested in purchasing.
The said list includes an option that raises our eyebrow, “The Top 20 Divas in History”.
If selected, this would be the first Divas DVD in six years. The last came in 2006 with “Divas Do New York”, highlighting the Divas of that time partaking in photoshoots as they usually did each year, but with matches and segments included as bonus features as well.

Came into this story completely skeptical of anything substantial (read: match and character-based, not just photoshoots) with the current crop, but a Top 20 of all-time would actually be really nice.

I really hope they do this DVD, I use to collect the divas DVDs when wwe use to sell them, and was upset when they stopped(now bring back the magazines), would’ve been cool if they did a History of the Women’s Championship DVD back when it was active

I do agree with those 20 women should be on the DVD. I hope Beth Phoenix won’t be in the top 10. She should be number 11 or number 16. I don’t want Eve Torres to be on the DVD. I want the new divas DVD to come out in a 2, 3, or a 4-disc DVD. This would be great for WWE to do the right thing & to release this DVD in stores & online.

Hell, the top 3 is obvious, with Lita & Sable right behind Trish. Also well earned, no matter what Sunny thinks.
Sunny would be on the list, even though she left a year before Sable introduced the term “Diva.” Chyna, Torrie, & Stacy will be high up there. Ivory, Mickie, Melina, & Beth should make it. Hopefully, Victoria & Molly.

(Raw 1000 not included) or victoria (who was used as a jobber in her last years) or sable ?? hell even chyna !! (who’s the first woman to enter the royal rumble and only female to hold the intercontinental championship)

The divas haven’t been relevant in a long enough time to necessitate it, plus some of their best women are now signed to TNA so they’ll be ignored in the history. Trish and Lita would be the top two and everyone knows that.

I would be totally down for a divas dvd. But, i dont think that they should do it on that subject. I think we all know who would win, it would be dumb. I would actually just like to see divas giving their HONEST opinions on other divas. It’s fun to watch stuff like that.

the only problem i can see with this is the possibility of wwe leaving out some of their greatest divas due to behind-the-scenes issues (chyna for example) or because they’re now in tna (mickie, victoria)?

I think WWE should do a 100 diva countdown DVD…a countdown of the most entertaining women on WWE to this day. Which could range from all era’s. Divas with the most intersting sotrylines and great matches. Memerable title riegns.

The only thing I could see this doing is causing a huge amount of RAWR outrage from the Diva Fans. Purely based on who’s in what spot on the list. It happened with lists on WWE.com with the guys, it’ll happen with the girls.
Top # of XXX DVDs never go over right without fans being upset. Bad move.
