Hello there, everyone, and welcome to another edition of the Superstars Redux. This week we’ve got another Divas match, in the form of my personal favorite opponents, Alicia Fox and Natalya. Will the Anvilette overcome the Foxy one in her home turf of Canada? There’s only one way to find out!
Following the entrances of both Nattie and Alicia, the bell sounds and they lock up. Alicia proceeds to shove Nattie back and apply a wristlock, but Natalya flips out and takes Fox down. She begins a “Canada! Canada!” taunt, but Alicia reverses the hold and mocks her opponent. Natalya finally kips up, and they both go to lock up again. Nattie with an arm drag, but as she runs into the corner, Alicia rolls into a sunset flip. Natalya flips out and goes for the Sharpshooter, but Alicia holds onto the ropes and forces the referee to get Natalya off her. Nattie with a monkey flip, but Alicia nicely flips out and leaps over Nattie. She goes for a headscissors, but Natalya drops her down stomach first and again attempts the Sharpshooter. Alicia breaks out again, but gets a kick to the jaw for her troubles. Natalya then flips her over in a kick, as Foxy begs for a time out and handshake.
Natalya shakes her hand, but it proves to be a trick as she attacks her and gets a quick roll up for a two count. Alicia decides to head outside and slam Natalya’s cape on the ground, sparking Natalya to charge after her. Fox throws it in her face, but this irks Natalya enough to smack her! Alicia with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker, before taking Natalya into the corner with some slams to the face. Alicia scores with a slap, and locks in a leg scissors submission hold! The crowd wills Natalya on, and she manages to hoist Alicia up while the hold is still locked in. She flips it into a bodyslam attempt, but Alicia falls on top of her and gets a two count. Nonetheless, she hits a huge clothesline on Natalya and goes for a running kick, but Natalya catches her and transitions it into the Sharpshooter, forcing Alicia to tap!
Thoughts: Another great match on Superstars from the Divas. Much like every time Alicia and Natalya compete against one another, I still feel they have the best chemistry of any two Divas that spring to mind. The matches are all so stiff that it feels like more than just going through the motions, and they seem to have fun in there as well with the various tactics and taunts they perform. A lot of the matches on Superstars tend to fall into the same category of it just happening for no reason other than to fill time, but I tend to notice that the Divas actually go all out on Superstars as opposed to some of the mens’ matches I’ve seen there. I think it’s mainly due to the fact that the Divas don’t get that time elsewhere and thus they want to make every match unique and entertaining, while some of the Superstars maybe are here for one week but on SmackDown or Raw the next. Nonetheless, I loved this match but with who was involved I never doubted that. No idea what their dispositions are, however… honestly when Natalya and Alicia face each other I don’t really care because it’s so entertaining on it’s own right without having to worry about the small things.

Brilliant match.
These two always deliver together; they have brilliant chemistry in-ring.
I love how Alicia turned heel throughout the match… so so well done. And I’d forgotten just how much I missed heel Alicia pahahaha
Some really great moves from Alicia too, and needless to say, Natalya was of course flawless.

Natlaya brings out the best in Alicia, these 2 have always had solid matches and it deserves to be shown on Raw and Smackdown, would be so great to see these two go at it with the belt involved. Could you even imagine?!

HAHA! And the way Alicia just turns to a bitch within the 7 minutes is great, I hope they show her as a heel because when she mocked natalya I had to laugh. She has way more personality as a heel

I forgot how much of a great heel Alicia had developed into! This was very reminiscent of their infamous Superstars match from last year! I find Alicia’s heel tactics and attics amusing which meshes well with Natalya who’s one of my favorite divas as a face because she’s so likeable and skilled! This match made me realize that Natalya should be face and Alicia should be heel because Natalya as a face seems more credible and pristine and Alicia as a heel is vicious and vindictive and loves torturing her prey!

I love how they put the two best working Divas on Superstars… And have Eve in the main feud. I really don’t care about Eve and I just wish she would quit.

I couldn’t tell which was heel and face, but I loved this match. Alicia and Natalya “always” work well together. Its so much chemistry between them. Maybe because they are friends in real life?

I LOVED the whole match, it was so funny, entertaining and on spot! :)
Both playing the tweeners, the whole mocking on each other and spots like when Alicia licks her palm before she slaps the taste out of Natties mouth were hilarious!

Alicia Fox.. god I love her. She has so much personality, and is so underrated as a wrestler. Of course, Nattie helps bring out the best in her but Alicia deserves her credit as well. Fantastic match, this is the kind of thing divas matches need more of. The entertaining spots and trash talking. Like someone else said, I would be so entertained and behind a feud between Nattie and Alicia with the title belt thrown in the mix.

That is easily one of the best diva matches I’ve seen in a long time. They really do have remarkable chemistry; I think Natalya brings out the best in Alicia, and that’s coming from someone who doesn’t particularly care for her.

Natalya and Alicia’s chemistry together is off the charts. They make you feel like they really do hate each other and want to rip each other apart. Their matches on Raw and Smackdown in late 2010/2011 were really bogged down by lack of time. I would love to see them go at it on one of the main shows now that the divas are getting at least a somewhat decent amount of time again.

I could watch these two compete against each other over and over and OVER again.
They just have such great chemistry and I love seeing the fierce side of Alicia back, she has bags of personality and needs to turn heel with a decent storyline behind her. It was great to see her use the tilt-a-whirl backbreaker once again, as I have missed that move a lot.
One of my favorite Diva Matches in a long while. Would so love to see these girls put on a match like this on PPV over the Divas title.

It doesn’t matter who is face and who’s heel. Natalya and Alicia Fox have a great chemistry toghether, and always put on great matches. I still don’t understand why these two great divas don’t have a feud for the divas title…..

God forbid if WWE actually took two talented Divas and put them in a feud for the title.
