CHIKARA King of Trios Night Two Results: Sendai Girls Advance, Toyota & JWP Out

CHIKARA continued its prestigious King of Trios weekend last night in Easton, Pennsylvania.

As reported yesterday, all seven joshi talent that were brought in from Japan by CHIKARA advanced to Night 2 after victories on Night 1.

Unfortunately, four of those seven talents were knocked out of the tournament last night, including the iconic Manami Toyota, according to a live report from PWInsider.

* FIST (Chuck Taylor, Johnny Gargano and Icarus) def. Team JWP (Commando Bolshoi, Kaori Yoneyama and Tsubasa Kurgaki). Taylor got the victory with a Boston Crab on Yoneyama, knocking Team JWP out of the tournament. After match, however, the joshi stars received a standing applause from the crowd.

* Team Sendai Girls (Sendai Sachiko, Dash Chisako and Meiko Satomura) def. Mike Quackenbush, Jigsaw and Manami Toyota. The Sendai Girls got the victory after they triple-teamed Quackenbush and finished him off with a Pele Kick.

ROH’s First Lady, Maria Kanellis, was also on hand, supporting her boyfriend Mike Bennett, and his Team ROH team members, The Young Bucks. During their match with Team Extreme (Tommy Dreamer, Jerry Lynn and 2 Cold Scorpio), Maria got on the apron, providing a distraction to Dreamer which allowed her boyfriend, Bennett, to take control of the match.

King of Trios continues this afternoon.
