WWE has issued an ‘injury update’ on Kaitlyn stemming from last night’s Night of Champions pay per view where she was attacked from behind prior to her Divas Title match with Layla.
WWE.com reports has a ‘torn tendon’, but won’t require surgery. She is supposedly due back in the ring in several weeks.
Of course, this is all part of the storyline. This isn’t the first time WWE has pulled a Diva injury angle this year, with Beth Phoenix suffering an ankle injury, also.

It’s always the ankle. Also, here’s my question. How did the assailant injure her ankle if she was attacked from behind? I hope she reveals more about the attacker soon, because she didn’t even specify if it was a man or woman. I mean, more than likely it’s just Eve who done it. But I have hopes for a debuting diva perhaps or another current diva being added.

What they should do is round up the suspects to find out on who did it to Kaitlyn,that it could be Eve but she was with The Primetime Players,or it could be any of Divas on who are on the roster or any new Diva who are on the roster just to make a statement starting with Kaitlyn.

I would love for the “attacker” to be a new diva. Let’s be honest, we need a few new girls on the roster. Especially heels.
I say bring up Paige as the attacker. We all know she is good enough to be on the main roster now. Have her and Eve team up. It would be awesome!

Unless eve got another diva to do it,it was her since she would get added in anyway i mean who else besides layla would benefit from it but laylas beat everyother diva anyway….
i think eve should make it seem like layla did it so she can play all innocent for awhile thou….

Tamina’s been very cryptic recently and to be honest I’d love to see her turn heel again and this would be a nice way to do it and get some spotlight on her at the same time. Again, it’s probably Eve setting it up, but WWE could be attempting to think outside the box and give us a red herring.

That means that either Kaitlyn has some time off or works on NXT for a while only while maybe appears on the main roster in backstage segments to keep the storyline running.
I think that if they don’t involve a other Diva that had nothing to do with the feud between Eve, Layla, Kaitlyn and Natalya that we already have 3 options to go with.
- Layla did it because she didn’t wanted to face Kaitlyn and will either turn to a tweener or to a heel soon
- Eve did it to get a title shot cause she knew her chances were high so after she hit Kaitlyn from behind she run to the office and played the innocent by getting busy with the prime time players.
- Natalya did it as a revenge towards Kaitlyn for “dissrespecting her and her family”
- as a 4th option I can see Buggy Nova being called up maybe as Eves “right hand”, helping her on her way to the top after she was promised a spot on the main roster (which would be awesome in my opinion)
Whatever way they go, it will definately open new options for the feud to go on.
That’s the main and only reason why I’m happy about Eves win cause they at least didn’t dropped the storyline immediately but rather keeping up with it.

I don’t think it was Eve herself, but she definitely has something do with it. I can see the storyline going like this (fingers crossed) Each time Eve is about to have a match, or defend the title, her opponent will get attacked backstage. This will slowly happen over the next few weeks. They then have a backstage segment of Eve talking on the phone, or talking to a mysterious woman in the dark, thanking them for their help and that she has managed to secure them a spot on the main roster because of it. Following week, Eve comes out and ‘shocks’ everyone by revealing her master plan all along and introducing her right hand woman …. which will hopefully be none other than Sara Del Rey… which she will play the character of a ‘body guard’ type of thing, where if they want to get Eves title, they have to go through her first. After a few months of both of them torturing the rest of the divas by attacking backstage and SDR interfering in matches, giving Eve consistent wins.. Eve cuts a promo saying that her and Sara have eliminated all competitors and there is no one else to face …. then all you can hear over the speakers is a loud and terrifying laugh/cackling …. lights turn purple … out comes Kharma (who would obv be face) attacks them both and destroys them… setting up an Eve/Sara Del Rey – Kharma feud …. wishful thinking :) Thats how i would book this story any way

most likely it was someone ordered by Eve,and i would like the misterious person to be Sara Del Rey.
but the “nice and sympathetic Eve” will be around for a few weeks until Teddy Long shows security footage backstage from Kaitlyn´s attacker to Booker T.

Although it’s a pretty lame way to slip her into the title picture, I think this confirms the rumor that Eve was in fact supposed to win that battle royal. She definitely had something to do with Kaitlyn being attacked, but I beg WE in the name of continuity NOT to make Eve the attacker since she was talking to the Primetime Players when it happened. Btw, how the hell was Kaitlyn attacked from behind and only suffered an ankle injury? It would’ve made a bit more sense to have it be a knee injury to me, but anyway, I don’t see Eve dropping the belt until A.J. is relieved of her duties as Raw G.M.

I think Eve really is face and was actually genuine with all her nice gestures. Everybody is lead to think it’s her, but really it was another diva or a debuting diva. Then everybody gonna feel real stupid for blaming poor Eve lol. Soon we shall know.
