Following last night’s big reveal (storyline advancement, hurrah!) from injured Diva Kaitlyn that she was attacked by a blonde at Night of Champions, Beth Phoenix, a blonde (duh!), found herself in the firing line. As well as being accused of the attack, she was laid out by Divas Champion — and her tag team partner for the night — Eve Torres.
Following the attack, Beth spoke to WWE.com about being “betrayed” by Eve on Raw and whether she attacked Kaitlyn. There’s also a cameo from one Miss Alicia Fox, who again seems to be having a heel/face identity crisis.
Check out the segment below:
Who do you think is behind the biggest whodunnit since JR Ewing?

I think Alicia is Bi-polar. As for Beth, Eve betraying her basically set up a Beth Vs Eve this Smackdown. Eve will win and Beth will announce it was her last match with the WWE and reitres.

Why do I get the strangest feeling that it would be Kelly that attacked Kaitlyn? I mean if she is returning full-time like places have said, she can at least come back and be something different for once.
If not her then it is clearly Natalya since she’s been losing to Kaitlyn & Layla constantly.

Kelly.. seriously?
That’ll turn her heel, if she did somehow do it, she couldn’t stay face. She couldn’t play heel, all she’d do is scream and turn into go all white-ghetto on her opponents.

You know, I had that feeling too- it would be a shock to everyone, and it would make her first heel run special..
I’m still thinking it’s Natalya if it’s a current Diva- though my new Diva choice has been eliminated (obviously Paige isn’t blonde)- Raquel does make sense as well, as Eve storyline-wise has potentially a lot of contact with Vickie…
If it does end up being Eve in a wig, I’ll be extremely disappointed- and I don’t know how they could work it timewise based on the PPV footage (how could she attack Kaitlyn, dump the wig, and get to where she’s talking to the PTP in the short amount of time she’d have before someone found Kaitlyn).

you do have a very good point there. The distance from when she was talking to the PTP from where Kaitlyn was, it doesn’t seem logical that she had enough time until WWE did something clever.

Not to mention that I think it would have been noticeable in the ‘security footage’ if the person that attacked Kaitlyn was wearing the same outfit Eve was at the time… Hard to attack someone effectively and make a good getaway in a skirt and heels. So time-wise, Eve’s not making all that much sense as a suspect. She’d have to dump the wig, fix her hair, and likely change clothes, then rush to where she was talking to the PTP before someone came to get her to tell her Kaitlyn was attacked. It would make more sense for Eve to have arranged for it to happen than for her to have done it herself.

Eh… glad the divas are getting some air time and storyline buildup behind them. But this is too easy to figure out, it’ll be revealed that it was Eve wearing a wig.

Loved Alicia on this.. haha
I just hope that Beth is not “fired” by Eve or something, to send her off (if she is really leaving WWE as everyone is saying). That would be ridiculous.
Hopefully is just a Beth face turn =]
at
Alicia is so much better when she’s showing attitude, but WWE is making her look bipolar with constantly switching from face to heel.
at
oh my gosh I love Alicia.
But I’m enjoying this, Natalya would maybe be an easy choice for WWE, but I really hope it was Kelly…. yet at the same time I enjoy face Kelly so so much idk
at
It feels like they’re going through with a Beth face turn so she’s one when (or if) she goes. Since Smackdown is supposed to be in Buffalo tonight I say let Layla get her rematch against Eve for her title and Beth attack Eve afterwards. Then Beth vs Eve can continue while Kaitlyn “heals up” and the real attacker can be revealed along the way.
at
It’ll turn out that Eve attacked Kaitlyn wearing a blonde wig .The only blonde divas within WWE/NXT are Kelly, Beth, Natalya, Summer Rae, Raquel Diaz and Charlotte.
Saying that, it could be Raquel Diaz.. that’ll be interesting! but doubt it’ll be.
With Beth possibly going at the end of October, I pray and hope that WWE give her a good send off. With the recent attack on Beth, i’d like to see a Champion vs Contract match at Survivor Series, if Beth wins, she wins the title and stays (if she resigns) but if she loses, she leaves the WWE.

There is also Emma who is also on the roster.

It seemed like Alicia was taunting Beth! Also, I said this last night but I’m glad that multiple divas are now part of this storyline! I like playing this “Guess who?” game! I realized that there’s the possibility of it being Eve wearing a blonde wig but Eve’s character is too cunning and manipulative to carry out a task like that herself, or maybe an diva could have worn a blonde wig but that would be too elaborate for wwe. I’m thinking Beth, Natalya, Kelly Kelly, a blonde nxt diva, or maybe even a blonde who recently got or will be signed did it because quite frankly with Beth reportedly leaving and the extreme lack of heel as it is the divas NEED a 2nd credible heel other than Eve!
at
Probably Natalya how creative(sarcasm) and since when did Beth care what the other thought about her in last time I checked she was a heel and she has attacked people from behind Melina,Mickie and Eve and a few others I forgot about please wwe a little consistency in your story lines I hope its Kelly that would be different it would be very interesting to see her as a heel.

The difference there is that Beth attacked someone visibly and stood up for it instead of attacking someone from behind to injure them and leave so no one can tell if she was it or not.
I too hope its not Nattie cause it would make it too obvious.
at
Hmm I’m actually really confused with recent happenings. Is this Beth’s going out storyline? Because although reports have said Beth is leaving she herself said to fans outside Raw that she wasn’t and had no intentions to do so. So if that’s the case then it’d be great for Beth to turn face again but then again is Beth only saying she’s not leaving to make her leave more shocking? I don’t know. Then again maybe WWE have come to their senses and realized they cant let Beth go and have given her the push she needs and inserted her into the storyline.
On the attacker side of things I’d actually love it to be Kelly Kelly. I’m not really a fan of hers and she gets on my nerves but with her reportedly returning full time soon it’d be shocking and a step in the right direction for Kelly character.

Yeah before the Bellas left they were denying the rumors about their departure also.

Kaitlyn attacked herself xD
As for Alicia, SHUT UP GIRL, YOU´RE FREAKING ANNOYING!
at
Lol @ Alicia. What a bitch. That girl clearly needs to be given a character cause right now, she’s one of the handful of Divas *trying* to have a personality.
Storyline is slightly intriguing but Eve is annoying the hell out of me. She went from interesting heel with improved acting skills to…whatever the hell she’s doing now. Even her finisher looks weak now. Ugh.
at
And where the hell is Kelly? Why return for one night just to resume your vacation?
at
“Kaitlyn come on walk away gurl” hahaha! I think if it wasn’t an actual Blonde, maybe Fox and Eve and / or maybe kaitlyn have set this up. And I hope Beth doesn’t get the Victoria treatment by being beaten on her last match (wether it’s this smackdown or the end of the month)
revivingophelia Reply:

It’s not really the ‘Victoria treatment’. Most people lose their last match with a company. Even massive stars like Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair lost their last matches with WWE. Chris Jericho’s left three times and lost his final match all three times. If Beth loses her last match, she’ll just be doing what a lot of other wrestlers have done in the past… putting someone over as she leaves.

And Austin, at Wrestlemania 19. Sable, Lita, & Michelle McCool lost their final matches.
ajfan83 Reply:

Yeah, but Sable wasn’t really “putting anyone over”. I can’t even remember what her final match was. Once in a while you even get guys winning their final match due to strange circumstances. Goldberg and Ultimate Warrior both won their final matches and then disappeared, never to be heard from again. There is no feasible reason to let the departing wrestler win if everything goes to plan. They shouldn’t have done it for Trish, and they shouldn’t have done it for Hogan (probably something he demanded, though). I’d say the same for Rock, but it’s pretty obvious he’s going to do another match with Cena, and most likely lose. Undertaker is a unique case due to his longevity, but if it wasn’t for all the Streak merchandise they can sell, I’d say he should lose as well.

In the case of Goldberg both he and Lesnar were leaving so unless they did like a double countout or something someone had to win. If Undertaker’s last match isn’t at Wrestlemania I could see him losing it. If it is at Wrestlemania then who knows. The streak is the streak I can’t really see them breaking it. It’s more meaningful to his career at this point than any of his title reigns.
ajfan83 Reply:

Yeah, it made more sense for Goldberg to win since he was face and didn’t bail on them the way Lesnar did. I’m just saying someone winning or losing their final match isn’t as important as some people are making it out to be. If I was McMahon, I’d have everyone lose on their way out the door. Beating someone that’s going to be around the next day seems like nothing more than an ego stroke for the victor. I assume Undertaker’s final match will be at Wrestlemania. If by some miracle it isn’t, I would think he’d want to let his opponent win.

And at least the majority of the divas are involved in one way or another which is great to see
at
It was Natalya -.-

I’ve heard speculation of Angelina Love being the attacker hired by Eve, and (I’ve said this before) I think heel Angelina would be a SERIOUS morale boost for the division, but I think they’ll make Kelly Kelly the attacker since she was the top babyface for a LONG time. Although I despise Kelly Kelly, I wouldn’t be opposed to her being the attacker assuming there actually is one. I like the fact that no one asked Kaitlyn to roll the “footage” she says she saw/has; because I feel as though people would be able to tell whether or not it was Beth by the build of the attacker. This storyline’s not making Kaitlyn look too intelligent because like Beth said, the fact that Kaitlyn would believe EVE (the main person who benefited from her injury) over Beth means she has a lot to learn.

Btw, I don’t really think there are any real face/heel divas at the moment; I think all of the divas are just “there,” which would explain the random face/heel switches week after week. And in order for the attacker to be Natalya, WWE would actually have to push her as a CREDIBLE heel, and unfortunately I don’t see WWE investing that much time in her. :(
Raekon Reply:

The camera footage of the attack could be overhead so one could only see the hair and the attacker would had definately be disguised instead of going around in their normal gear.
So it has nothing to do with intelligence but rather with a good plan Eve and her “partner in crime” came up with. :)
I too doubt its nattie.
at
I don’t understand people’s logic. If Eve in a blonde wig is a possible scenario, why can’t it be anyone else in a blonde wig? You guys are crossing people off your lists because they aren’t blonde, then saying it’s probably Eve in a blonde wig. Is Eve the only human with a wig? lol.
Marshy Reply:

It can be any Diva who are on the roster and who are not on the roster yet in a blonde wig.

im happy with whats going on 1 storyline and all these divas some personality is shown fox is best while sassy beth might be turning face before her leave or wwe is giving her this push to keep her around i just hope they dont end eves run so quickly giving the belt to beth
as to who the attacker is kelly or nattie i doubt someone new is coming but its keeping people on their toes in guessing who it might be

If they don’t make it turn out to be Eve I think Natalya or a new diva that Eve’s bringing in to do her dirty work makes the most sense. Natalya had issues with Kaitlyn leading up to the pay per view and Eve could have easily convinced her to do it.
And where are these Angelina Love rumors coming from? From what I understand, WWE isn’t touching any TNA talent right now given the lawsuit going on.

watch it be alicia in a blond wig lol
alicia did annoy me in this video . i wish beth wouldve threw her into a door like she did to melina
