    If I’m not mistaken this is Layla’s 1st ever win against Eve. What a great accomplishment and milestone for her!

    Yeah I think it is. One on One at least but she has pinned her on Tag Matches (that one match where Layla did her corner finisher and then pinned Eve).

    In singles competition yes, but if I’m not mistaken Layla’s pinned Eve before during her Laycool run.

    Yeah Layla pinned Eve, when she teamed up with Maryse.

    I’m not a huge fan of the Glamazon but she deserves a good retirement!

    I read some not-so-nice spoilers for this match, but usually the IWC are harder on the Divas, so I’ll save my judgment – until later, of course. ;-)

    I’m surprised Eve lost…but I guess they’re just building up to their rematch, which will likely have Eve retain.

    It’s kind of odd that they would have Layla beat Eve clean in a one on one match. She already has a rematch coming up, so the win isn’t needed to set that up. She’s been picking up victories consistently, so it doesn’t seem like she needs the cred. If anything, Eve needs some credibility as champ. I know she’s the shady heel, but she won last week with a roll up and this week by making Beth do all the work.

    Wait, why am I approaching this like WWE’s booking makes any sense?

    Laylas win over Eve on superstars doesn’t say much since this show doesn’t continue or includet he storylines from the two main shows.

    I heard a report that despite rumors of the feeling that less emphasis would be put on the diva’s division that some significant things are being planned for the division over the next few months.

    Yeah I heard that too. They’ve certainly signed enough talent to indicate that was the case and they’ve got a multiple diva storyline going on that doesn’t involve any male superstars whatsoever. Hopefully they keep it up.

    I would rather have had this match on Raw or Smackdown but on Superstars, you get more time so i’m happy for this but defeating the champion in a non title match, this should have been for the title since in the clause, she has to have a rematch.
