Kelly Kelly Goes a Shade Darker: New Post-WWE Hairstyle
A new era, a new look, perhaps?
Former WWE Diva Kelly Kelly, real name Barbie Blank, has ditched the platinum blonde locks that made her one of the biggest stars in wrestling for over six years.
To go along with her career change the former Divas Champ has dyed her hair a shade darker, sporting a two-toned brunette/blonde look.
Blank revealed her new look via Twitter, writing: “Loving it! @erickohair so happy with my new hair!”
New hairstyles are not uncommon for career changes, or simply to move on to the next chapter of one’s life. In fact, fellow former Diva, Trish Stratus, ditched her trademark blonde locks for a more mature brunette look as she traded wrestling to become a yoga guru and high powered businesswoman.
Perhaps K2′s new ‘do will lead to similar good fortune?

I dont think it looks bad I think it suits her. Plus it gives her a break from the bleaching products

Its nice to see a change, wasn't she a shade darker when she was on ECW? If I remember correctly it was a bit lighter than this, but somewhat darker than her recent bleach blonde look. Nonetheless, shes stunning either way :)

i love it, im glad she kept it mostly blonde amd then added some low lights. the blonde is a little darker so it looks much more natural.

She looks better. And it could help her come off as less of a “bimbo” than she did in WWE. As you mentioned, Trish wasn’t really taken seriously until she went back to her natural brunette. The platinum dye blonde look is outdated.

I like it. With the exception of t being on Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, I’m not a huge fan of the bleached blonde look. This looks more natural and I think it’s pretty on her.

Would have been awesome if she returned to WWE as the attacker with dark brown or black hair… despite it being a blonde angle. Will make her a great heel plus she could say Kaitlyn is delusional lol

Yeah, it’s smart for Kelly to move away from her WWE image. I doubt anyone would take Trish seriously outside of wrestling if she still had her diva look. I don’t know if Kelly is taking a cue from her, but the mentality is probably the same.
