The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that former TNA Knockout Velvet Sky, who left TNA in July, may be close to striking a new deal with the company.
The report states that many within the company believe she will return and that she has either agreed to a new deal or is close to doing so.
Back in August, it was reported that TNA President Dixie Carter was eager to get Velvet back, going so far as to ask her what it would take. Whatever it was she wanted, it looks like TNA might be able to deliver.
Velvet was one of three Knockouts to depart TNA in recent months. Her Beautiful People partner Angelina Love also left the company in July, while Winter made her departure in September.

It sure is easy to get Dixie to give you what you want is it I should just ask her for a 3 year 6 figure contract to do nothing, but in all seriousness I’m a little excited, because Velvet most likely asked for both herself and Angelina to return as the Beautiful People and for them both to get major pushes as well as increased salaries and a higher marginal profit from merchandise sells. This in conjunction with her new clothing line Velvet really is blossoming into quite the business woman:)

Ugh… I hope not. They need some new Knockouts. Bringing back one that’s been there for 5 years and already done pretty much everything she’s going to do does not interest me.

i watched tna with her and without her and quite frankly it needs her back. velvet has this star quality about her which hasn’t been replaced and probably from from it. if she does return, one hopes she’s given a new finisher.

The knockouts division will continue to suck as long as Bruce Prichard is in charge. The man can’t stand womens wrestling which is the main reason the knockouts are no longer featured properly. He’s also the reason Tessmacher is getting pushed.
Velvet is welcomed back but the main issue is Bruce and his look on womens wrestling. The man needs to leave TNA so the knockouts division can be saved.

I really hope this isn’t the case, she hasn’t been gone long enough to be missed and there’s dozens of Knockouts on the roster that have no storyline as it is! So much for branching out and doing her own thing, all she’s done is released one tacky t-shirt and done a few independent shows. Time’s a healer, I think if she ever returned it needs to be further down the line, they didn’t even write her out so it’s not like she could have a storylined return like Tara did during her contract differences and initial release.

Tbh I dont really see her returning, i think this is just rumours. If you’ve been monitoring Twitter lately, many WWE employee’s have been praising her. I think WWE will eventually sign her now that K2 is gone, but they might wait till the lawsuit with TNA is settled.

TNA is doing good things to improve the Knockouts.
1. Trying to get Velvet back.
2. Giving Jillian a chance

Jillian has one try-out match and all of a sudden, she’s sign, sealed and delivered? It’s all just speculation, nothing’s been confirmed! Serena had a tryout match and nothing came off of it, in fact the last girl to be signed from a try out match (excluding GutCheck) was Rosie Lottalove. So yeah…

As much as i love velvet, there’s no point in her re-signing because they barely use the women as it is :/ because apparently one of the creative writers or something isnt a fan of women wrestling..i’d see her barely being on tv even though she was so popular. If she does re-sign i’ll be happy and be rooting for her.

I agree with you. I see no reason for Velvet to return to TNA especially with Bruce Prichard in charge. It’s clear he’s not a fan of hers or the Knockout division. Velvet would do better to just stay on the indys and continue do what’s she’s doing now.

I see Ed is being a hater again when comes to Velvet. But what else is new.
Anyway I think it’s just a rumor. If anyone follows Velvet on Twitter she seems happy to be moving on from TNA and has a lot of things going on at the moment. Same with Angelina who after listening to her interview she did with Monday Night Mayhem has put TNA behind her. So I don’t think she’s returning either.

I see someone else agree’s with me, I don’t see Velvet, Angelina or Kharma returning to TNA. As Angelina said, she has put TNA behind her and ready to move on with life. I don’t think Velvet would return either, she know’s that she’s highly thought of by WWE employee’s and now that K2 is gone she might be the pretty face they need to fill the void, nothing against Kelly, but Velvet can wrestle now. Also with Kharma, i don’t think she’ll return either, WWE & Kharma had a mutual parting of ways for Kharma to grieve & lose some weight, I can guarantee she’ll be back when some of the weight is gone.

First the Observer said talks between her and TNA have broken down now she’s supposely resigning or has resigned?! PWInisder said Velvet was 100% done with TNA on Saturday and find them more reliable than the Observer.
