We take a look at past Bound for Glory events ahead of this Sunday’s 2012 edition.
2009 | With the Knockouts Title on the line, three of TNA’s heavy hitters battled it out as Awesome Kong (Kharma), ODB and Tara competed in a triple threat match. Just as the match was getting into full swing, an odd disturbance occurred as Tara was seen getting into an altercation with MMA fighter Kim Couture in the crowd. The incident resulted in Tara disappearing to the back for a few minutes, and her opponents in the ring looking confused. Fans have still yet to receive an explanation on what exactly what happened.
Watch it unfold below:

frpm what ive read, the kim couture thing was a work to hype up their then upcoming fight which was eventually cancelled. i know victoria tara explained it somewhere but i never got to see what she said about it. its a shame because i would have loved to see if she could back up her words. not that i wanted her to fail, infact i would love for victoria to have broken through and proved to the world that women wrestlers are powerful women, unlike any others in the world and can hold their own in multiple combat sports.
i wasnt a huge fan of odb so icouldnt get into her matches. perhaps had she been fighting women like jackie, or jazz i could have gotten into it. just because i feel their styles are more stiff, so they can actually give her a beating i would enjoy watching.
sorry for the grammar..this my touch android by tmobile is acting up …

I don’t think it was a work.
from MMAFightingcom
“According to both Couture and Varon, TNA had invited Couture to attend the pay-per-view. The plan was to have the women engage in a short staredown in the middle of Varon’s match. But since Couture arrived approximately 20 minutes before Varon’s match started, there wasn’t much time to plan it out properly.
So when Varon fell close to where Couture was sitting ringside, Couture nudged her in the back, and Varon, a 10-year wrestling veteran, immediately thought a fan had gotten physical with her. Once she turned around and saw it was Couture, she lunged at her. ”
“After the incident, both Couture and Varon were escorted backstage by security. Varon said she received a quick tongue-lashing and even thought she was going to get suspended or fined for her retaliation.
After she cooled off, Varon was told to re-enter the match immediately. The TNA broadcast crew made no mention of the incident while it happened or later in the show, and both Varon and Couture insist that nothing will be made of it on future TNA broadcasts”

so hard hitting the women are great
the whole kim thing is crazy whether it was a work or not because nothing came about
it would have helped to have some sort of reason
