There wasn’t much in the way of a match on last night’s SmackDown, but we did get the reveal that a blonde wig was found in Eve‘s belongings.
Of course, it was a blonde that attacked Kaitlyn last month at Night of Champions.
On last night’s episode, Kaitlyn and Layla try to push their discovery on GM, Booker T, but once again, Eve tries to cover her tracks.

So, that’s where we’re at right now. The obvious scenario is that it was indeed Eve, but how long can she keep denying it? And where can this go next? (Suggestion: Eve pays off someone to come forward as the attacker.)

Or… the blonde wig found in Eve’s belongings was planted there.
Since so many people are so intent on it being Eve, there really needs to be a swerve in there (like her being set-up and someone else doing it) to keep the reveal from being totally anti-climatic.

(and by ‘so many people’ I mean others on the show – Teddy, Layla, etc.) I really think they’ve got too many people on the show accusing her for it to be anything but an anti-climatic let-down if they make it be Eve (not to mention a complete logic failure considering the fact that she’d basically have to be in two places at once to have done it).

i think its obvious that it was eve, she just putting the blame on teddy! i think this is good progression, atleast we got some sort of build up towards the storyline.
but where is beth?
its stupid that beth just disappeared when she was a part of this storyline, beth does need to get payback from eve after eve blamed her. i hope beth does come back into this.
also lol at layla yelling, but i couldnt make out what she said either lol. i hope this leads to a three way between layla eve and kaitlyn.

Also… the WWE has always pushed how intelligent Eve is (pointing out she graduated with honors from USC, etc.) … If she was the attacker, then why would she still have the wig in her bag almost a month later? Especially if she knows she suspected? Wouldn’t she get rid of the evidence or at least not bring the wig to the arena? Seriously… If they don’t have her being set-up, and they do make Eve the attacker, then they’ve just subtracted a lot of IQ points from her character (who they recently had on a list of the smartest superstars ever).

For some odd reason, maybe this storyline main purpose was to keep Eve as a strong heel & maybe introduce back Kharma..I dont know.
I mean at Hell in a Cell, it could be Eve vs. Layla vs. Kaitlyn. With Eve retaining. After match, Eve beats down both divas, to cut Kharmas music. Kharma enters the ring. (Layla & Kaitlyn think Kharma is saving them..only to be attacked by her.) Setting up Kharma as a bodyguard to Eve. I don’t know..just my idea.

They can bring her back. She left on good terms with the company and it was reported that the door for a return is open. I don’t think they’ll bring her back for this particular storyline but it’s not out of the realm of possibility for them to bring her back.

I know WWE writers can be stupid, but Kharma would be really, REALLY stupid. Wig aside, wouldn’t she stand out to Kaitlyn for other reasons? Like the fact that she’s freaking huge? And black?

Plus Kharma’s ship has sailed in WWE, like it or not. They’ll either get lazy and have it be Eve, or introduce a new diva.

Layla annoyed the hell out of me in this segment. I think I’m in agree with everyone else when I say that it would be to anti climatic for the attacker to be Eve. The only question is if it ain’t eve then who is it?

Looks like Aksana is going to return to have a role in this storyline! I hope the attacker is someone who can actually add credibility and depth to this plot because it’s very important that the attacker is most likely someone worth pushing! I can totally see a segment where a woman covered completely in black and wearing a blond wig comes out and just viciously blind sides Kaitlyn and Layla. And then she removes her head cover and wig revealing the attacker is……….!

Instead of just mentioning Aksana they could have had another segment in which she found the wig. Although I’m pleased with the storyline it’s getting a bit lackluster now there aren’t any serious developments besides fingers getting pointed

This storyline is halfassed and isn’t going anywhere as usual. How can Eve be the attacker when she was talking to PTP when it happened. The only logical way to end this storyline is to have Aksana come back as a blonde or have Summer Rae debut on the main roster. Other than that they really don’t know what they are doing with this angle or just don’t care smh

I think technically Kaitlyn was found on the ground when Eve was talking to the PTP. Someone else found her and brought Eve to her. Still would be hard for her to attack though and then run off and look presentable and find the PTP to talk to. I’m hoping they go with someone that’s not Eve in the wig that attacked Kaitlyn. Given that a wig was introduced into the proceedings they could pretty much have it be anybody.

Sometimes I think so. I think part of the reason it’s dragging is because there was so much time between NOC and HIAC. I see Eve defending at HIAC against Layla or Layla and Kaitlyn. They just need to finally get there.

I agree with Redsandman99. Because of the six weeks between pay per views instead of the usual four this time, the story lines are being dragged out. I could see the attacker possibly being revealed the RAW before HIAC with a match being made for the ppv by SmackDown. I hope they don’t try to drag until out the reveal until HIAC or the RAW after it, though…

I REALLY hope they won’t get lazy and make Eve being the attacker but rather having her as the strings pulling heel she actually is, by introducing a other diva working for her.
The way they mentioned Aksana rules her out of this so that leaves only Rosa, Alicia and Tamina left since its obvious that Beth or Nattie would rather grab a other color when it comes to the wig choice. :p
If they will reveal someone from the main roster than I really think that it’s Alicia.
Remember how she said to Beth that she understands that Jealousy can make people do things like that and how hard she tried to blame her?
Should they take someone from NXT instead then I really hope it’s someone that’s ready for the main roster.

Eve: WWE wouldn’t make it that obvious but they have done it before.
Layla: Surprising twist….Maybe
Naomi: Has more of a chance then her dancing partner Cameron
Natalya: Has a higher probably the highest chance behind EVE
Rosa: They wouldn’t do that to us

There is a simple reason that this entire thing being dragged out is stupid when they could have already ended it..THEY HAVE THE FOOTAGE!!! watch the damn thing..and bingo a big giant piece of evidence and potential end to this is right there…and don’t bother bringing up maybe the footage is “fuzzy”…if HBK can find someone to unscramble footage he got FROM A PARKING GARAGE!..tellin me they can’t do the samething.
Fact is this was obviously set to have kelly be the attacker but she is now gone and now they are left with a giant plothole that they conveniently are trying to dance around….it is ether EVE or someone being called up..because anyone else is illogical and so uninteresting that it go off like a fart in church.
