On this day in history:

October 27th, 2006 | Instead of having a costume contest, the Divas of SmackDown showed off their Halloween costumes in a “Trick or Treat Battle Royal”. Competing in the match were Jillian (as Elvis), Michelle McCool (as a nurse), Kristal (as a “gold digger”), Ashley Massaro (as a fairy) and Layla (as a bunny). Jillian was the first to go, followed by Ashley and Michelle. It was down to Layla and Kristal, and after a struggle on the ring apron, Layla found herself on the outside looking in while Kristal celebrated a victory.

    I really wish all that went down with Kristal didn’t go down. I thought she was a pretty decent wrestler from what we got to see of her and I think she would’ve gotten better.

    Btw this was Smackdowns new Divas Division!!! Mad proud of all these sexy ladies Ashley Michelle and Jillian rocked too!! 2006 was a fun year and loved JBL on commentary! His golden comments, his obsession with Michelle mccool and his constant appropriate owning of that wuss Michael cole lol..

    I miss kristal she could have been huge for the division…seeing layla here till now is a massive difference lol….ashley i liked her look but she was just terrible i dont know if she would have ever improved if she stayed….

    From what Ashley has said in interviews, the extent of her training in WWE was them giving her videos of Molly Holly’s matches and telling her to study them.

    yes but she had in-ring training to while on the road…they dont just study matches & send them out to perform…
