The AJ Lee/John Cena scandal train continues to roll on as the friends (with benefits?) make an appearance on SmackDown this week on MizTV. What do they have to say to about their passionate kiss on Monday Night Raw? Are they really more than “just friends”? Check out the segment below:
I must say, I am really enjoying this storyline. This is by far the most exposure a Diva related storyline has gotten in quite some time, and Vickie and AJ have really taken the ball and ran with it. Every week, it seems a new layer is added to the storyline and it’s showing no signs of slowing down.
One thing I am disappointed with is the absence of Tamina Snuka. While she may not really have a place in this storyline, after making her presence known at Survivor Series, I was expecting to see her at Vickie’s side acting as her hired muscle to take care of AJ. Hopefully in the next few weeks, AJ and Tamina will get to settle their differences in the ring.
Well, that’s it for the Divas on SmackDown this week. While I am enjoying the AJ Lee scandal, I’m hoping for some progression in the Divas Title picture next, as the #1 Contender spot seems to be up in the air at the moment. Until then, guys!

What’s going around now is that Cena/AJ vs Tamina/Dolph will be done on an episode of Raw to build up to a Cena/Ziggler match at TLC, if in fact they don’t do the mixed tag at the ppv. If they don’t do the tag match on the ppv I would like to see AJ and Tamina get a chance to go one on one there.

There’s going to be quite alot of gimmick matches at TLC though, which means longer matches. So, I don’t think there will be enough time to have a Divas match, unless they make it a mixed tag match.
And, judging by last night’s promo, it does seem like they are going to be building towards a mixed tag match with Cena/AJ and Dolph/Vickie(Tamina). To just have it on a regular episode of Raw just to build towards Cena/Ziggler, feels like a waste. That match should be the blow-off match for this feud/storyline, much like how Cena vs Laurinaitis/Show/Otunga where Show and Otunga ditched Big Johnny was the blow-off for the Cena/Laurinaitis feud.

Ok, I know AJ and Vickie are always in amazing segments but it’s AJ AJ AJ and more AJ…Raw was great, can’t WWE do the same with Smackdown? Always a diva HAS to be more important than the Divas Title….where is the prestige?

i’d love to see that. Kinda how SMH was back in 2000 when Tori helped her win the gold then she did anything she could do to retain the gold and it’ll give some major interest in the title matches due to Vickie being hated.

Where you love or hate the amount of air time AJ is getting but let me say this.. What I see the WWE are doing is building AJ as the next face of the divas division as the top babyface so before all of this, even the DB situation, AJ was just a diva that was used here and their and now looked, she is the most used diva in recent years (within the exception of Vickie).
If the WWE want to build a diva as the next top diva, then they need to use her a lot of times and why not do that better than put her in a storyline first with Punk/DB/Kane where she was the centre of it and now with the man of the WWE, Cena.

Two singles matches would be cool at TLC, and during the Aj vs. Tamina match, it can be a #1 contenders match for the Diva Title….

This never ending push AJ is having reminds me of Michelle McCool’s reign of terror, except that the accolades Michelle achieved are replaced with high profile storylines.
At this point, AJ doesn’t differ much from McCool except she’s got an army of marks behind her and pulls in crowd reaction.
WWE needs to stop force feeding AJ down our throats. Eve is the Divas Champion and her gimmick is heaps better than AJ’s. Layla’s role has obviously been cut short as she’s portrayed as AJ’s only Diva friend, Kaitlyn most likely killed her push after getting arrested, Aksana and Alicia deserve more airtime, Tamina’s finally got the spot she deserves within the company.
I so want Aksana to face Eve at TLC.
