Finally, the pigeons have been let loose! On tonight’s live episode of Impact Wrestling, Velvet Sky made her return to TNA.

The former Knockouts Champion interrupted Mickie James and Tara, who had been discussing their Knockouts Title match at this Sunday’s Final Resolution PPV.

Velvet thanked the crowd for their enthusiastic “Welcome back!” chants. She also expressed gratitude for Brooke Hogan‘s assistance, saying Brooke pulled the strings to get her back in TNA.

She then promised that 2013 will be the year of Velvet Sky as Knockouts Champion, capping it all off by quoting the late great Notorious B.I.G. in saying, “If you don’t know, now you know.”

Velvet Sky had left TNA back in July hot on the heels of the departure of Beautiful People teammate Angelina Love. Rumors soon surfaced, though, that she might return to TNA. Now, several months later, the pigeons are back in the Impact Zone.

GRAND! Shall look forward to see how everything pans out. I want TNA to sign Jillian Hall desperately! I’ve not seen Jillian vs Velvet yet!

Can’t wait for her to get her long title rein she deserved in 2011-12 :D

I’m not trying to be negative as I’m a fan of Velvet too. But she’s not winning the title back because I honestly don’t think TNA wants her to have it. She says 2013 will be her year wasn’t 2012 suppose to be her year? I’ll believe it when I see her physically holding the Knockout title.

I still think she made a bad move returning to TNA.

    BillyGP Reply:

She will win it thanks to Aces & Eights.

What makes you say that? Once again I’ll believe when I see it.

She wouldn’t have resigned with them if she wasn’t going to be champion again. The reason she left was because they weren’t going to use her the way she should be used, why would she quit the company just to agree to come back on the same terms that she left on?

Good I like Velvet, I’m glad she is back with TNA she was far from my favorite when she started but now I kinda like her and her white girl booty…..LET THE PIGEONS LOOSE!!!

Good to see Velvet back, but regarding her having the title for a while… all signs point to “Don’t Feed the Pigeons”… I don’t mind her having it, but don’t let her have it for too long. Just like many places warn you, pigeons can overrun and ruin the area lol

I think they’ll put the title on her in the next few months. TNA has a habit of doing that with debuting or returning knockouts that have any sort of name value. What kind of surprises me is how quickly Tessmacher got demoted. I thought for sure she was their new centerpiece and now she barely makes it on to TV. TNA needs to figure out who they want to push.

I’ll be honest, I’d rather have Tessmacher than Velvet. I find her to be more likeable and I enjoy her matches more.

  8. Lol, Velvet took the spotlight from Mickie, and the face Mickie had on was like wtf!!! Hoping Mickie turn heel so i have a reason to watch TNA.

  9. Don’t like velvet at all but kudos to her on her return we will see how long it takes her to not get her way and leave again.

  10. My favourite Knockout is back!! Whoot!!

Now we get to see Victoria losing clean to one of the people she squashed at WWE during a try-out match. Thats something new! Right???

If only it was against Alissa Flash I would jump in joy.

I gotta say I kinda like that she’s back since she represents the old knockout division, but as far as her in ring skills and even mic skills…I’m not super excited what will follow.Only thing that can excite me is if Mickie turn on her and they have a nice long, full of emotion rivalry, but I also want Tara to have a nice title reign.I hope in time she’ll become more of the heel we all remember her to be-vicious and aggressive. I never liked the types of heels that are acting like how Tara is acting right now.

    Slapavel Reply:

Me either, it seems likme when people turn heel, they become punk and don’t have as much momentum and charisma as babyfaces . If mickie does turn heel, I hope they don’t make her that type of heel that runs out the ring when she getting her ass whooped!

I love how Mickie basically is away for that time, wins one match and finally gets a chance to look like she’s not going to lose this Sunday/ bring something to the storyline and Velvet upstages her completely! TNA need B-storylines, I remember the days we were sometimes lucky enough to get two Knockouts matches…

    Kaledrina Reply:

i hear ya. even some lame knockout feud which only plays out on xplosion would be far better than having them all try to upstage each other constantly.
