Diva Dirt is excited to reveal the nominations for our fifth annual Fan Awards!
Taking into consideration your suggestions, as well as discussing amongst the Diva Dirt team, we’ve compiled the nominations looking back at the best of women’s wrestling in WWE, TNA and the independent scene (predominantly North American).
Voting is now open and will continue until December 31st, 2012. As is annual tradition, the winners will be revealed throughout the day on January 1st, 2013.

Tough to make a choice on just one, and some of my favourites were missing from some categories which made it even harder

I personally believe that AJ should be diva of the year i mean she broke a lot of boundrys this year for a woman in current wwe to do such as being a GM of raw and MAIN EVENTING RAW 3 TIMES, having a highly promoted segment at raw 1000 and all of this happened in the same year which is quite phenomenal

I agree with most of these nominations, but the Brooke/Gail feud should of been nominated IMO. I think it was better than her feud with Tara.

I am disappointed that Hamada vs Kana was not an option for Independent Match of the Year.
With the AMAZING talent in the independent scene, I really hope the WWE/TNA women don’t overpower these awards. In 2012, the mainstream promotions were not even close to the talent and entertainment value that came out of the indys.
