On this day in history:

December 29th, 2011 | Bestowed with the honor of competing in TNA’s final match of the year, Mickie James challenged Knockouts Champion Gail Kim to her title in the Impact main event. The two put on a match worthy of the main event, but the ending was hardly clean. A woman with a painted face (Madison Rayne) attacked Mickie, laying her out for an easy pin by Gail. The Knockouts Champion left 2011 with the belt still firmly around her waist.

    History? It was just last year! Too soon no?
    I’m sure some better crazier sh** went down in 99, 2000, 2001 and so on
