  1. Just goes to show how many WWE fans run amuck on DD, I mean I’m not saying Nattie isn’t stilled, she one of, if not thee most skilled in WWE right now. But conpared to the likes of Hamada & Sara Del Ray (Who was voted second to be fair), I dont think she’s as skilled as people think she is.

*So many keyboard errors… I should really look before I post comments on here.

I voted for Hamada as well. I love Nattie but for this year I dont think she should’ve won this year! Que wwe marks in 5….4….3….2….

So it’s our fault we only watch mainstream television? I mean.. I have other shit to do and not a lot of money to do it with! I’m sorry to Hamada, etc.. but it’s not my fault WWE hasn’t signed them.

When ever you got time don’t be afraid to get on You Tube and Daily motion to look up indy names because sir you are missing out.

Crazy_J if anyone knows busy its me! Im married with a 2 yr old & I work a full time job & go to school part time! I watch indies & mainstream & all I was simply saying is that in my opinion there were better choices for the award. Its funny how senstive ppl get over the word mark!! Im a womens wrestling mark & proud of it! :)

  2. Wait a minute… Natalya gets voted the most skilled wrestler… and the most underrated? How is that possible? If she was underrated that’d mean people wouldn’t think she was that skilled.

    LightsOut Reply:

‘Underrated’ means ‘underused’, which is Natalya’s case.

    LightsOut Reply:

… which doesn’t change the fact that she is very skilled.

    revivingophelia Reply:

Actually, ‘underrated’ does not mean ‘underused’. It means underestimated. An actually dictionary definition is ‘given too low an assessment’. Saying she was underused just means she wasn’t used enough. If people think she’s the most skilled wrestler, then they really aren’t underrating her.

Sorry, I ended up mistaking everything.

    Diva-Dirt community logic? =-X

Exactly what I said in the “Underrated” thread.

    AYAKO HAMADA SHOULD HAVE WON!

Why when someone disagrees about something they have to be marks? Maybe they just disagree. I personally thought a hamada should’ve won but im not gonna start a board war over it. I thought maybe this board would return to it’s former glory this year but I already see that’s not the case.

    Rhawk Reply:

But nothing has happened with arguments involving the results… yet.

    sugarrush28 Reply:

True but someone made a comment and was just waiting for responses by starting a countdown and calling anyone that voted for WWE people a mark. I can’t stand that kind of stuff cause it’s not needed. Some people just watch tv stuff and don’t care about the indies. It is what it is.

Sorry not trying to offend but for the most part im an indie wrestling mark. I didnt think Nattie as talented shoud’ve won the award. There is super strong opinions on this site, I was just waiting to get attacked lol

  5. Blac Chyna

I think natalya is a great wrestler but majority of the women on this list are above her lead

  6. melina prez

Natalya is an AMAZING wrestler but most of those women on the list are better than her like Jazz,Ayako Hamada,Mercedes Martinez,Sara Del Rey.

  7. Bdawg0701

    Kana should’ve taken this one!

  8. DJ8946

How is Natalya underrated & the most skilled? Biased fans much?

    Lol I kn

Eh, I won’t comment on the contradictory fan vote here. Natalya is as skilled as they come and it should strike as obvious that a mainstream wrestler stands more chance of securing a public a vote than an independent one.

My personal choice would have been Ayako Hamada. I’ve had the treat of seeing Hamada perform live and she’s a near perfect package of first class wrestling.

That said, all women nominated were great choices.

I love Natalya, I always have. But I find it really funny that she managed to get the Most Underused award as well as Most Skilled. These are completely opposite. Most skilled is a better category for her, but I think there were better options here. Kana, Hamada, and Del Rey are more skilled in my opinion and Hailey Hatred is a close competitor.

  11. Crazy_J

I love how 90% of people on here bitch about how Natalya isn’t used, or how her GREAT talent is wasted but when she gets a win, everyone’s ready to take it from her. I don’t think she is the best on the list, but she’s definitely one of them that is a stand out, give her credit.. geesh. I seriously understand why no wrestling companies actually listen to the IWC because a comment can change someones opinion they just wrote 4 minutes ago.. seriously!

And the calling someone a mark comment.. if someone LOVES or likes something or someone to the point they will defend them no matter what.. don’t degrade that passion or that love, I’m so sick of seeing that on here.

  12. shameronstar

I knew there would be some tension on this one because Natalya is definitely the best technically sound female currently in mainstream wrestling, but at the same time people won’t go against a great indie name like Hamada(who is probably better than Gail Kim who I is in my top 10 current most skilled female wrestlers list) or Kana(who is pretty awesome and gorgeous), and at the same time people don’t want to discredit Natalya because she’s a great underrated wrestler and person, so the chaotic opinions were expected!

  13. Getdownwithachola

It all comes down to what kind of wrestling style you prefer.

Here we got Kana who is a shooter “very realistic in the ring” .

Hamada,SDR, Marteniz and Hatred wrestle the strong Japanese style.

    Tara, Jazz,are both powerhouse, brawlers.

Gail Kim got some high flying, and technical ability.

Mickie James is technical and brawler.

Nikki Storm have the British style of wrestling.

Natalya is technical sound and powerhouse.

  14. BillyGP

to each their own while im not disagreeing with Nattie winning i will like to say Gail third is a no on my list.

  15. bxradimus

There’s no question that Nattie is a very skilled wrestler, but obviously, the award should have went to showing who was actually the most skilled.

The majority of people on this site don’t even know what Independent wrestling is, and the site doesn’t do a very good job of promoting it. So obviously, a WWE Diva or TNA Knockout will win everything. When, the girls on the Independents almost always put on much better matches.

  16. I can’t remember if I voted for Gail Kim or Tara, but Natalya again! Yeah baby! :D

  17. Natalya shouldn’t have been nominated to begin with…

  18. Marlon Eric

I can definitely see Natalya winning this..or atleast a close second. But “underrated” got me scratching my head..

  19. Natalya is a skilled wrestler but there’s one reason why that she shouldn’t have gotten this award: TV time! The latter part of her 2012 was spend being in the back while we had to watch AJ and Eve and Kaitlyn hog up the spotlight. And her 2nd title reign LONG overdue. But at least Del Rey and Gail Kim are Runner-Ups. :)
