PWInsider is reporting that WWE developmental Diva Skyler Moon, also known as Buggy Nova, has been released from her contract.
Skyler was signed by the WWE in June and wrestled for NXT, their developmental territory. In August, she was reported to have headed to rehab.
A few weeks later she confirmed this and revealed that she was being treated for an eating disorder, not substance abuse, as had been rumored.

I can see know, everyone is gonna come on here and say how STupid WWE is for releasing a strong wrestler and charcter like Buggy Nova, However, really when you stop and think about it, she only wrestled for them for 2 months and then spent the rest of her time in rehab and recovering, so her release was obvious that it was gonna happen, once NXT start building up other new girls and older girls Skyler was gonna slowly start falling down the pack and shamefully she did and i think that is why she got released
she was good character and would have been awesome on WWE TV, however since we never really got to see her do anything it REALLY ISNT A BIG LOSE hahaha

The person clearly meant WWE work. Every indy wrestler convert into a WWE style wrestling. She may be a great indy wrestler, but things just started the wrong way in WWE and that’s unfortunate.

I guess it isn’t a big loss, but I loved her finisher. It was so unique.

To be honest, I forgot she was even with WWE until now. I would have liked a televised match though to see what she could do. (Never seen her wrestle before.)

Even though I loved Skyler’s character, I don’t know if WWE would be the right place for somebody who has/had problems with body image issues.

I take it you are not familiar with Torrie Wilson’s past.
Jake

I knew somebody was going to bring her up.
Torrie overcame her body image issues several years before she got into pro wrestling. I’m not sure how serious her bulimia was because it sounds like Torrie stopped by her own whim. However, Skyler had to go to rehab while she was in WWE. You can’t really compare the two.

This is really sad, but it might turn out to be for the best. Eating disorders are horrendous and can be very difficult to recover from. They can also lead to or steam from other serious mental health issues. I’m not saying this is definitely the case for Buggy, but it certainly could be. The stress of WWE might not be very good for someone who is undergoing treatment and beginning recovery. I don’t know how old she is, but if she’s still young, there’s always the chance that WWE could resign her when she’s on more stable ground. Either way, I wish her luck.

Yea, I think it’s a situation similar to Kharma where because of her problems outside the ring it wouldn’t be a good idea to keep her around long term at least not at this point in time! but it was still kind of disappointing because she was a very unique individual and I heard developmental were impressed with her!

I dont think she was ready for WWE due to her personal problems such as the eating disorder so maybe this release will allow her time to work on that and better her life #bestwishes

Skyler was actually signed last year in march

Wish her the best, she had a unique look. This situation was more in same sense like Kharma.
This wasn’t a huge surprise plus the fact Davina Rose got signed and already has reported also Rachelle St. Clair will be reporting later on since she’s out with a injury

Too bad! :(
Just hope she is at least better now or that she made some progress against her disorder.
She is a great wrestler and SHINE Wrestling would definately have a spot for her after she is available.

The worst environment for a person recovering from an eating disorder, or even for a recovered eating disorder, is somewhere like the WWE, where you’re surrounded 24/7 with athletes who all have amazing bodies. That’s where a persons’ competitive spirit kicks in and the eating disorder gradually gets more intense. Not surprised they released her.

shes an awesome wrestler & shes young so she may be back in the future…..
having an eating disorder in wwe would be the worst since its said many wwe divas diet with pills & so on would make her situation even worse….

Fuck…………….She was my favorite, her finisher was amazing. Part of me tells me WWE released her due to her alternative style we all know mainstream wrestling hates women with that type of style.
