You might be curious — as were we — what were Diva Dirt’s biggest stories of 2012? For the first time ever, we’re taking a peek behind the curtain by revealing the 10 articles that received more hits than any other in 2012 here at Diva Dirt, based on traffic reporting from Google Analytics.
The top 10 included some surprises (we certainly were!) and some obvious picks, but in all, it gave us an idea of who and what caught people’s interest in the year gone by.
Aided largely by fans of the hit NBC show ‘The Biggest Loser’, our most-clicked article of 2012 actually came right at the start of 2012 in our interview with former TNA star, Kim Nielsen, on January 2nd, 2012. The ‘Biggest Loser’ fanbase googling Kim certainly helped that piece’s traffic, as they were clearly clamoring to get to know the Season 13 runner-up that bit better and learn about her wrestling past.
Former WWE Diva, Chyna, ranked not once, but twice in the top 10 based on her 2012 adult movie releases — including news of a wrestling parody and a She-Hulk parody.
Also making the cut, Diva Dirt’s world exclusive first post-WWE interview with the Bella Twins and our buzzworthy interview with Kharma.

I love the interviews, but as a fan – I like to hear where they were going with certain storylines. Its no secret that I’m a huge Lita and Trish Stratus fan. They’re my absolute favorites ever so, id like to know about storylines that fell through or were cut short and what might have happened. Its just super fun to find out…I guess that would be gossipy of me..which I hate btw. Id like to know for example, what was supposed to happen between Lita and Chyna before Chyna’s abrupt departure. Also, where would have Trish/Mickie gone had Trish not gotten injured? Did Lita, Trish or Jazz propose to be in an earlier spot in the Wrestlemania X8 show??? Things like that.

I totally understand u on the curiosity aspect of finding out the “what could’ve been?” Outcome product of a storyline… although speaking on the Chyna and Lita storyline, I remember hearing an interview with Chyna that she was ok with loosing the title to Lita and she believed that’s where the storyline was heading before her departure but Lita didn’t want to win it from Chyna in their match. I guess we’d need Lita’s POV from this.

Diva-Dirt, the main site for ‘dirt on divas’. Thats not what they want to be known for, but its what they are known for. At least they still cover wrestling, its just that people arent as interested in that part of the website, as the results clearly show.
