We’ve just crowned the best finishing move in women’s wrestling, so it’s time to set up the brackets again for another tournament. This time, we want to crown Raw’s new Diva of the Decade.

It’s been 10 years since Trish Stratus was named Diva of the Decade as part of Raw’s 10th Anniversary celebration. With Raw’s 20th Anniversary just behind us, we think it’s time to look back at the last decade and crown a Diva of the Decade for the 2003-2013 period. Will Trish hang on to the crown, or will another Diva emerge? It’s all up to you!

Submit your nominations in the comments below and we’ll use your ideas, as well as our own list, to pick 16 finalists. The only guideline to follow is this: nominated Divas must have appeared on Raw in the 2003-2013 period. We’ll then put together a bracket tournament to whittle the list down to crown the new Diva of the Decade!

    I second this, SHE’SGOTLEGS! Great list! :)

    Looking Glass Reply:

Apart from the fact that Molly, Jacqueline and Ivory were around for like two years after 2003 when their careers were pretty much on a downturn in the WWE. Thus not really making any impact in the years following that decade (though Molly did have the hair vs title match that ended up just making her a comedy routine)

Michelle McCool for sure. She has done so much and even those that disliked her during her time in the WWE now miss her that she is gone – kind of like Trish. She was also in WWE for 8 years, that’s a long run for a Diva.

    Green As Grass Reply:

    *7 years

    PlasticAngelx Reply:

Cant forgot she made history twice! First Diva to become WWE Divas Champion AND first Diva to win both the Divas & Womens Championship. Also, she was one of the first divas to compete in a tables match, along with Beth, Natalya and Layla.

    RealFANwithFacts Reply:

8 years but only was women’s champion 2 times and divas champion 2 times. That’s a lot of valued time went to waste to only accomplish that much!!.

    Melissa Reply:

Agreed. In addition to all of her accolades, I think if we had to look at some of the biggest diva releases/retirements over the past several years, McCool’s is up there in terms of being one of the most important. Like her or not, the division took a big hit after she left.

    Jinzo Reply:

They’re talking about Raw divas though. Michelle was excluded from a poll like this before the Raw 1000 episode for the reason that she was always a Smackdown diva that rarely had involvement on the Raw brand.

    VelvetLoveFan Reply:

As long as they appeared on RAW it said, she made rather a lot of appearances on RAW during laycool..

    Raekon Reply:

I would agree on Michelle Mc Cool if it were SMACKDOWNS Diva of the Decade or Diva of the Decade.

This is however about RAW and Mc Cool was mainly and mostly on Smackdown.

So maybe you should differentiate between the two brands and which Divas were where most of their time.

    litaluva06 Reply:

Neither Michelle McCool, nor Trish Stratus were in WWE for 8 years, and neither of them hold the record for longest run in the company as a Diva. Trish was only around for 6 years, Lita was around for 7, going on 8, and Victoria was in WWE for 9 years. Lilian Garcia was around for 10 years, then came back, Vickie Guerrero is rapidly approaching 10 years herself.

    Torrie Wilson!

  9. charovnica

I’d say McCool. Her retirement defintely showed that she was actually really valuable for the division. But I wouldn’t scratch off Mickie. Mickie was a top baby face for a long time and she has always been a fan favourite.

    Michelle
    Beth
    Lita
    Eve

I nominate: Eve Torres, AJ Lee and Beth Phoenix

All three of these divas have main evented Raw and have kept the Divas side interesting from their time on the red brand. Eve went from the boring athletic babyface to a manipulating heel. AJ Lee went from minor league diva to pushing CM Punk and Daniel Bryan throw a table. Beth remained dominant through out her tenure, even when she was on a slope she still led the locker room.

  12. I really hope people wont vote for Trish and Lita… They both retired in 2006, and since then there have been dozens of divas after them who have worked so hard to make their mark (Melina, Mickie, Beth, Michelle, etc) Just because Trish and Lita are the defining divas of the past doesnt mean we should ignore the great moments from the past 7 years. Idk, make your vote but I just want people to have that in the back of their heads while they go vote.

    Lita-Sault-666 Reply:

Trish/Lita thing: Trish had only been in the company for just under 3 years (?) when the award was given out for the first decade. In the last 10 years, she has been with the company for a little over 3years on a full-time basis, and has made many appearences since then.
Lita too, so I believe both of these ladies should be allowed in the competition. However, I think with these two in, there almost guranteed to make the final two :L.

    lucky1now Reply:

When trish won it the first time I didn’t agree she wasn’t in long enough
Now this time once again she’s in 3 of the 10 years I just don’t think it should happen

    PlasticAngelx Reply:

Yes, but I feel that Beth, Mickie, or Melina deserve it more because, unlike Trish, they wont be making annual appearances to plug themselves into another decade award. This is the only shot they get and they represented the face of the new generation of Divas. Personally, I can care less about Trish and Lita because their generation is over. Let’s please acknowledge what came after them.

    Fox-hunter Reply:

surely you can also say that Beth, Mickie and Melina’s generation is over,

if people think that what they did during their time, eclipsed that of the last years of Trish and Lita’s careers then they will vote that way, but just because T&L were relevant early in the decade doesn’t mean they should be excluded.

    Michelle McCool without a doubt.

  16. gingerjaffa

It has to be Mickie, women’s champ 5 times and Divas champ once, involved in probably the best women’s story line with trish. And top baby face for the time she was there.

  17. numero47

    Beth Phoenix and Mickie James

  18. HeelEveRulez

I nominate K2 she did a lot for the divas…
OK i was joking you can breathe now

As for the REAL AND LOGICAL nominations
    1-Michelle Mccool
    2-Beth Phoenix
    3-Eve

If we are going on wrestling ability and in-ring achievements, Beth Phoenix is the clear winner. Beth was Women’s/Diva’s Champion more days combined than any Diva in history after Moolah and Trish.

Beth’s reign as champion totaled 367 for Womens and 204 for Divas, for a total of 571 days as champion. Michelle was 278 Womens and 218 Divas for a total of 496 days as champion.

Top 5 all-time Women’s/Divas Champions in terms of days as champion:

    1. Moolah – 10,708
    2. Trish – 828
    3. Beth – 571
    4. Alundra Blayze – 539
    5. Michelle – 496

Beth Phoenix was only the second woman to ever enter a Royal Rumble match.

Beth was also a Slammy Award winning Diva of the Year.

    Nomoninees should be
    Trish Stratus
    Lita
    Beth Phoenix
    Mickie James
    Melina
    Michelle McCool
    Eve Torres.

Trish Stratus should re win again, why she should, come on people it doesnt take a rocket scientist

    puppies Reply:

No. Just no. Lita (as much as I love her) and Trish don’t deserve to win. Trish didn’t really even deserve to win the first time imo, but that’s beside the point. They were both only around for 3 of the 10 years of this decade. There were 7 years of divas that are more deserving. Nominated? Sure. Winning? Nope.

Damn sure not McCool she did her job but she not as great as everyone says or thinks.

Who would i pick that is hard to say Trish even though she left in 2006,Lita same she left in 2006,Mickie who carried the division after the left and was the top diva and babyface (despite what someone will say),Beth Phoenix who helped Mickie carry the division.

  23. MickieFan226

    MICKIE JAMES!

  24. Jack

Melina and Mickie James have my vote! I’m also going to say Kharma. Regardless of only being around for only 5 weeks, she made an impact like no other.

    Raekon Reply:

Fully agree on Melina and Mickie.

It was bad to say “made an appearance in raw” on the topic though cause due to this michelle mc cool probably is gonna win this, even she did nothing for raw and mostly appeared there with laycool in her last few years only.

Melina, Mickie and Beth were regular RAW Divas and did the most out of all of the others there.

  25. TheGamergirl22

Mickie James since both Trish and Lita pass the tourch to her and got reaction (compared to anyone after her release maybe AJ) until she got released
