Meh, needs more women.Congrats to her again I suppose, but I dont like the idea of her fueding with Tara and gail Kim nonstop, since they are the main heels in the company since, well, Madison is hardly ever seen anymore.

This is the second time Taryn has screwed Gail over, it seems like they’re tryin to transition Taryn from ref to wrestler and who better to agitate than Gail Kim. Hopefully this leads to Tara blaming Jesse and dumping his sorry ass and destroying everything in her path.

Agreed, and hopefully Gail or Mickie gets the title. Velvet is boring and is quite honestly a bad/decent wrestler. I mean she is no where near the skilled wrestler she should be given all her years of experience.

Happy for velvet but damn how they gonna have Tara eliminated first she’s so supposed to be a strong heel. I guess this leads to a side feud with Gail and taryn though which sounds like fun

Gail Kim vs Taryn Terrell. Sounds like a fun bonus Knockout storyline for Lockdown! :D I started to like Taryn as a referee so much, I would be sad if we get another male ref. but I would be also happy to see Taryn wrestle again! Maybe TNA should sign another female referee, maybe Brooke Hogan! :P xD

Kaitlyn is WAY better than Velvet & plus Kaitlyn worked her ass off for the title & improved leaps & bounds while Velvet just showed up & got the title & she has gotten worse in the ring.

So did Velvet she is one of the first TNA Knockouts and has been there since 2007 . She was a background member of the beautiful people until the split for the last time and got a one month title reign. While Kaitlyn has gotten better Velvet did to, and everyone knows that she isn’t the best wrestler on the roster but she has worked her ass off to get to the position she is in and its not fair to take that away from her. While Kaitlyn is in no better postiion in the ring since the only person she has ever had decent matches with were Eve and she is gone so its going to be interesting to see how good she looks agents another person.

In my point of view Kaitlyn is being overrated, she’s no a pro at all. I get it, she works but nowdays being a champion is not the same than it was before, now is a joke, the Divas Title hasn’t prestige at all. And with Velvet, she’s the worst thing that ever happen to TNA along with that thing called Jenna Morasca. She has a ”nice body”, and charisma, that’s why she’s with TNA, but giving her the title so soon is so..ugh, having people like Madison, Gail, Mickie or letting Tara to keep the title, but as a true heel, not as a silly bitch with that ugly Jesse, duh.

it isnt about how Kaitlyn worked her ass off.It is about prestige.I mean untill 2006 being a womens champion was something hard i mean i remember very well when Ashleys first match with Victoria JR shouting “but she is a former womens champion!”Being a womens champion was something important…but nowadays if you get into a title feud that title changes i mean Kaitlyn is still too green to keep that title!Kaitlyn had a feud with Eve and voila!title changed but what if eve would go into a feud with Natalya/Tamina/Naomi?And being with the company for long doesnt mean you have to have that title.Lets look at Layla she has been in company for 7 years and she got one title(i dont count womens championship)and Layla has the talent and the look.So if you say Velvet should get the title sorry but you need to think over a title being a title not every comer to get a title

* Gail Kim asks for a Knockouts title match. Brooke gives her the match for next week’s Impact. The match will be a four way elimination with Tessmacher, Gail Kim, Velvet Sky and Tara.

I would have prefered to see Mickie as champ and everybody who knows how I can’t bear Mickie James will understand my current state of mind…

The match might be good & I’ll watch but I dont want Velvet to win & hopefully this leads to a Mickie heel turn & a side Gail vs Taryn feud. Also TNA you need more girls. Have Taeler be on the main roster full time, bring up the Blossoms & bring up Epihany

Impact 14th Feb
Blossom Twins & Party Marty (Scurll) vs Gail Kim, Tara and Jessie. Match was way longer than it needed to be, with a mild response to the British Boot Camp trio at best. Gail Kim pinned one of the Blossoms seconds after Marty scarily overshot a dive to Jesse on the floor, getting nothing but the guard rail. Post match Gail talked down to Tara and set up a title match for impact next week… Out came Brooke who was booed, who arranged Gail vs. Tara vs. Tessmacher vs. Velvet Sky for the title instead.
Marty got up after the Brooke promo and got a good reaction.
Impact spoilers 21st Feb
Gail Kim vs. Tara vs. Tessmacher vs. Velvet Sky for the Knockouts title. Tara came out to Brooke’s music in another in a list of production botches. Jesse was thrown out at the start of the match. This was announced on the prior show as an elimination match but there was a load of broken up pins in front of a dead crowd. After 3 hours, people were beyond burned out by this point.
Gail pinned Tara after Velvet hit her sit out pedigree so we’ll get a new champion. It was an elimination so the match continued. Very little reaction – why break up pins if it’s elimination rules?? Tessmacher eliminated after her attempt to roll up Velvet from another sit out pedigree failed, leaving us with Gail vs. Velvet – Velvet Sky wins the title with another sit out pedigree.

I’m laughing at all the hate comments. It’s really hilarious how depressed it makes people just because someone they don’t like gets pushed. I’m keeping the channel on the news to see if someone’s gonna commit suicide because Velvet’s champion (that literally would not shock me one bit)
I also find it funny how most of these same people just don’t like her because they don’t think she’s a great wrestler… yet most of them are fans of divas who are way worse in the ring. That’s the internet for you.

I don’t know how other people feel about her but for me I just feel like she’s been kinda out of it since returning . I used to be her biggest fan before she left but it seems like she’s a little boring now. & the divas may not be the best but at the same time we r gonna expect more from someone that has been in the business for 10 yrs as opposed to someone that has been around for a shorter amount of time. I don’t think velvet’s that bad but for me it seems like that time off made her a little worse

Not really as you may know I’m an alternative person much like Skyler moon/Paige so you should realize we are a natural enemies, but I get along with the friendly type of preps really well. i kind of expected that comming, i just hope they will set up a normal cage match for the knockouts championship between tara and velvet at lockdown so they could conclude their rivalry.
it’s funny bc tara won her second women’s championship back on raw in the same kind of match (fatal-four way elimination) and the champion was eliminated first, which aired on feb. 24, 2003. lol

Wow I had totally forgotten about that match. I have mixed feelings on Velvet being the champ. Her last couple of matches that I saw were so so. I love the idea of the steel cage match to settle things between her and Tara. I’m hoping Velvet is working with Mickie James or Tara herself behind the scenes to improve her wrestling skills.
