WWE Diva AJ Lee sent out her stamp of approval toward the NXT Divas via Twitter yesterday, after they made appearances at WWE’s Royal Rumble fan fest in Phoenix, Arizona.
AJ wrote: “The future is in good hands.”
In tag team action, Paige and Sasha Banks faced off against Emma and Summer Rae. Paige and Banks picked up the victory.
Also in action were Natalya and Alicia Fox, who did battle in a singles match. Natalya ended up winning when she forced Alicia to tap out to the Sharpshooter.
The NXT ladies were also featured on WWE’s official Tout account, with each team talking about their match. (See Paige and Sasha Banks’ Tout video here, and see Summer Rae and Emma’s Tout video here.)
Meanwhile, both Paige and Emma have teased possible appearances on the pay-per-view itself on Twitter.
Paige wrote: “Tonight is the night! #RoyalRumble #nxtdivas #WWE“, a message that Sasha Banks re-tweeted.
Emma wrote: “Its the big day!! @WWEUniverse get ready for the #RoyalRumble. I can’t wait! I might dance my way onto the PPV.. #EMMAlution #NXTDivas #WWE”
Could they all make their main roster debuts at the Royal Rumble tonight?

Their all actually pretty good i haven’t seen much of Summer, but i did see was ok. Sasha and Paige are really good, and Emma has held her own in the couple matches she has had.

There’s been no actual announcement from what I’ve seen. I’ve looked all over for one but at this point, it’s just rumored so heavily that I think people are taking it as a fact.

I read that it will be Kaitlyn vs Tamina tonight, which doesn’t make much sense since Tamina hasn’t done anything lately. I guess it might be just to give Kaitlyn her first title defense since Eve and there was no rematch.
There hasn’t been any official announcement, though, so they might just have the #1 contenders match tonight.

Paige and Sasha are awesome, and Emma’s dancing is “interesting” and she’s pretty a good wrestler when she can be, but I think Summer might actually be a sleeper of the nxt roster. I think she potential brings more to the table than most people think!

If they all do debut then there will be no more divas in the NXT roster.

I’d love to see them all debut but is debuting them all at once a good idea? I mean sure we would get weekly diva’s Superstars matches again because the division would regain depth but because of limited tv time and an empathetic and uninspired creative team most of them would fade into the background:(

It would be so cool if at the Royal Rumble the NXT Divas debut in an impromptu #1 contenders battle royal. I think that the poverty is going to feature a lot of NXT talent, Bo Dallas even earned a spot in the Rumble.

They should just have a backstage segment with Booker T saying how proud he is of Kaitlyn “yada yada yada” and that tonight he has a surprise for her to crown a new number 1 contender….

Kaitlyn comes out to sit at commentary, booker comes over the titantron and says that there is going to be a “mini rumble” for the divas to crown new #1CONTENDER and they will get there match on the following RAW/or/Smackdown..
have it like when TNA crowned gail as the first KO champ, gaunlet match style. Start with 2 divas, every minute or 2 mins a new girl comes out.

The WWE doesn’t really do many debuts from mid-January through WrestleMania, so I kind of doubt that they would suddenly debut several divas all at once. Maybe they’ll make a backstage appearance (or if there is a divas’ title match be used as lumberjills or something), but I don’t think they’ll suddenly be brought permanently to the main roster today. They’d just get lost in the post-Rumble/road to WrestleMania shuffle.

AJ knows what she’s talking about about. So if these girls are good. The division might be good again after years of horrible matches. The division might get back to the level of 2006. One can only hope.
