divarumbleThe Diva Rumble is back! Every year it seems that fans want to see the Divas get in on the action with their own Rumble match. Well, short of kidnapping the entire Divas roster and forcing them to compete in one, we can’t make that happen. But we do have a fun — albeit virtual — alternative!

The annual Diva Rumble allows you to vote who wins, who gets eliminated, and the order in which they’re eliminated, simply by casting your vote! You voted for the winner of the Diva Rumble and the order of elimination, with the Diva with the highest number of votes winning and the Diva with the lowest number being eliminated first.

Last year’s winner was Kharma (2012 results), while Gail Kim won in 2011 (2011 results). Who will it be this year?

THE RESULT | The results are in and it’s a shocker to say the least! The winner of this year’s Diva Rumble is… AKSANA! That’s right! The Lithuanian Diva outlasted all of the opposition in the 2013 Diva Rumble to steal a win. Aksana outlasted nine other Divas for the victory with 16% of the vote, last eliminating Tamina Snuka. Meanwhile, Layla, AJ Lee and Divas Champion Kaitlyn had strong showings, but spare a thought for Cameron — who, with 0% of the vote, we assume was out of the ring just as quickly as she entered it.

Order of elimination (voting result):

2. Rosa Mendes (7%)
3. Naomi (8%)
4. Alicia Fox (8%)
5. Natalya (9%)
6. Kaitlyn (10%)
7. AJ Lee (11%)
8. Layla (14%)
9. Tamina Snuka (15%)

    This year was a little off no one reall has a good standing with me
    Unlike last year we had kharma and beth
    So I was pretty sure whoever won would have been a surprise

    There we have it. It’s like everyone was under the influence of something during the voting, either that or there are many more Aksana fans than what I was aware of.

    Its the Royal Rumble PPV of course there’ll be drinking involved, there usually is for this PPV, take no shame in that. I wasn’t drunk for that match, but damn I wish I was…

    Keep in mind that the last 2 years we had like few days to vote and different rounds. This year it was just one round and one day of voting. I guess the Aksana fans just sat there and clicked all day non-stop.

    Um… Maybe some people thought they were voting people out instead of voting for the winner? Or maybe the short amount of time to vote somehow skewed the results (because I’m sure a lot of people didn’t come to the site and vote during the four or five hours the poll was up.)

    For my part, I voted for Kaitlyn in this one, mostly just because she’s the current champion. With Eve gone, I don’t really have a favorite diva at the moment…

    I wasn’t expecting Aksana to win honestly, but hey, I’m not gonna complain. I’m all for the unexpected to happen. Anyways, I think besides regular Diva Dirt readers and followers, people that rarely visit the site may have also had a hand in the voting as well. So we all have to remember that as well.

    Cameron – 0% Clearly not. =-P Or maybe you voted for Naomi or AJ first and the other votes didn’t count, they do that.
