The wrestling world is still buzzing over news that Trish Stratus will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this April.
Fellow Divas and Superstars have already commented, and now Trish herself has put out a statement.
Speaking to her official website, Trish said, “I still can’t believe it. I’m just so honored to be taking my place alongside WWE’s greatest, as a wrestling fan – I’m kind of blown away! It’s simply amazing.”
She also sent out a tweet to her followers, thanking them for their congratulations:

Me too. I guess its because its hits closer to home. Edge was a big deal for me too, but Trish for the Divas – moreso than Sunny. Trish was one of my favorite Divas ever, so this is a proud moment. And I mean there’s no denying her impact and her evolution. The hard work shows and this is the ultimate payoff for Trish and her fans. I can’t wait to cry lol!
I still think Fit Finlay should induct her btw. He is the one who helped the divas. No one more than him really.

Congratz to Trish. She really deserves it. Hopefully we get a girl in the HOF every year now. Prob won’t happen though. I’m PRAYING. Praying that somebody important indicts her. Finlay is a great choice. I would love to see Lita induct her. And Trish induct Lita when her time comes. But let’s just hope it won’t b all the Diva inducting her like with Sunny.

Lita inducing Trish would be awesome or Fit Finlay. She deserves it. But idk I think Trish is too young hehe I mean we haven’t even gotten Stratusfaction Garanteed 2012 yet :D

I would love another Trish DVD that would take a look a her career and also her life outside of wrestling. Some footage of her working in Armed and Famous and also her show Stratusphere where she traveled worldwide learning different fighting styles. It would be so awesome! Her wedding, her new home, her yoga studio and family, thepossibilites are endless!

Trish being inducted into the hall of fame is kinda like a full circle moment for me. I started watching wwe in 2001 when she was fueding with Stephanie, fell in love and have been a fan ever since. I started losing interest in WWE when she left but kept watching till Mickie got fired. Love you Trish my favorite wrestler of all time!!!!
