No she’s not. Eve may not be technically on par with Michelle or Beth, for some she may not come close, but she could keep up with Layla. Some of Layla’s best matches were with Eve.

Sorry FLASH1086 but you are mistaken. Eve, while being a model turned wrestler, is light years ahead of Tamina. Eve’s moveset was more than three moves.
Hopefully it’s good cause Tamina hasn’t shown me anything yet. I am actually not too thrilled she’s facing Kaitlyn as I don’t think they can carry one another to a decent bout. And the severe lack of build up has me scratching my head, like it’s even less than the usual Diva stuff. Fingers crossed this match with Lay will show me something from Miss Snuka.
I love tamina, but i still think these two are still very green in the ring, it should be natalya or alicia to get kaitlyn over as a decent champ, ever since eve left its like wwe puts not effort what so ever in the divas division

Appearance is important in all entertainment shows (including wrestling). It’s especially important for women too.And it’s not about always looking pretty,but to know your body and character and work out your appearance from there.

I was at the show and it was stupid how much carrying Layla had to do. You could see the face was carrying the heel, and it looked awkward. Tamina also had to do the superfly splash 2 times. I guess she did something wrong the first time. Guys behind me were doing the “You can’t wrestle” chant at Tamina. It’s sick that WWE is pushing Tamina instead of Layla, Alicia or Nattie.
wwe really needs to build tamina up & actually show she can wrestle & be rough because 3 moves isn’t working for her when at the house shows she does more moves so why not let her on the main shows….
poor lay thou i hope she comes back into the title picture later this year…

Tamina is going to lose on Sunday and we wont see her for another year until next year’s EC. I most certainly am not delusional. BOTH times that Tamina was given a title push, everything Diva Related went to shit. Last year was the crappiest “feud” between Beth and Tamina. and then this year there was ONE match between Tamina and Kaitlyn where there was no winner and a second where Tamina’s team LOST! You may think I’m delusional because someone YOU like isn’t good and I’m calling out all her misgivings. The fact that they were up in the air last year doesn’t take away from the fact that the “feud” between Tamina and Beth was boring. Beth was doing what she does, which is be stoic and a heel already pretty boring, and then here comes Tamina trying to do the same. She added NOTHING to the feud. NOTHING! Even Cameron could’ve added more than Tamina. Maybe not wrestling wise but in her character and in ring mannerisms yes. And before you come at me saying that I prefer the Models turned wresters and dont like hard hitting women in the ring together, let me tell you that I would kill for a proper Beth vs Natalya feud, and that it’s not always about the wrestling. It’s ENTERTAINMENT and Tamina just doesn’t entertain.
At least we got a match with the #1 contender, i hope they show some interaction between Kailtyn and Tamina so people can at least be a little interested in the match!!
I’m the only one who actually kinda likes Tamina. Something tells me we haven’t seen everything she has to offer. She’s yet to have a proper push, she has a great look, and is just starting to get good at her heel act. She also gives a great bitch stare haha. Also, I don’t think she’s that bad in the ring, she can use some polishing, but everything about seems promising. If AJ wins the title I’d like to see Tamina go after it eventually since this is most likely not her time to shine as champ.
As far as the match-up, their last match was decent enough. Maybe this time it’ll be better. I’m just happy to see Layla again, and Tamina is finally going to have so credibility as a No.1 contender. Hopefully they’ll show a new segment between her and Kaitlyn, or at least the one from Monday which was really well done.

To be fair, I don’t actually dislike Tamina, but I don’t think there’s anything distinctly impressive about her — even the half-hearted sell of her lineage. Kaitlyn needs an imposing heel to provide some backbone to her title reign, and Tamina ain’t cut out for the job. Natalya in a face mentor role, or even Layla turning sour on her former bestie, would have been far more suitable.
Still hope Tamina proves me wrong, though.

I think people tend to overrate her worth because she’s not a model and has a different build which must mean she can work brilliantly. Sadly, nothing is farther from the truth.
