On this day in history:

February 13th, 2011 | At 2011′s Against All Odds, Madison Rayne put her Knockouts Title on the line against Mickie James in Last Knockout Standing match. The action spilled outside the ring, of course, but Madison eventually found victory inside the ropes. Near the end of the match, Mickie managed to steal Madison’s loaded glove, but the champ had another trick (or weapon) up her sleeve: brass knuckles. She clocked Mickie with them, leaving her down for the requisite 10-count.

Omg that’s when Essa won some irrelevant title that I can’t remember the name of.

    WweLitafan4ever Reply:

Oh it was the light-heavy-weight championship.
That’s irrelevant, but what was important was the debut of the greatest diva of all time,Lita.

I heard it too. Tazz slipped up. Probably not the first time. Mike Tenay corrected him so quickly. Good stuff.

At the time I really gave props to TNA for not rushing the title on Mickie, but instead mapping out a well structured journey for her to claim it. It’s just a pity, then, that the series of matches Mickie had with Madison could not stand up to the critically acclaimed ones with the sidekick, Tara.

Madison was so fun to watch as champion.. and in general. I wish they were doing more with her, if she’s still even with TNA.

Yeah. I was wondering the same thing. It has been an eternity since we have seen Madison on TV. Is she injured? I wonder if she will make a surprise comeback on Impact soon to shake up the division.
