The battle lines have been drawn for Pro Wrestling: EVE’s February 23rd show, “Special Edition II: War Games”, with Nikki Storm and Alpha Female both hoping to lead their respective teams to victory in a titanic main event.
The “War Games” match sees Storm join forces with “Portugal’s Perfect Athlete” Shanna and the team of Ama-Reilly (“Amazon” Ayesha Ray and Rhia O’Reilly) to take on Alpha Female and her partners April Davids
and She-X (Viper and Bete Noire) inside a steel cage. One woman from each team will start, with the other competitors entering in turns over the course of the match. All eight of these women have scores to settle with members of their opposing teams, and if Alpha and Storm’s epic encounter at Wrestle-Fever in November is anything to go by, and with no escape and no respite from the unforgiving cage, we can expect this to be a brutal one.
Two important stipulations for this match will be decided earlier on in the show, as Storm takes on Davids in singles action to determine which team will have the numerical advantage as far as order of entry is concerned, while Shanna goes up against Alpha Female, with the winner deciding which two wrestlers will start the match.
Also, the last quarter-final match of the EVE Tag Team Championship tournament will take place, as Blue Nikita teams up with the debutante from Spain Raquel Arijon to form the new team of the Blue Haze Assassins, who will face an as yet unannounced pair for the remaining place in the semi-finals.

I thought it was a iPPV and at the 22th? O_o
Damn… now I won’t be able to buy and watch. :(
Hope they will have a great and sold out show though.

Very disappointing to see only four matches. Even at the last Special Edition show, there were 5 on the card (which turned out to be six, if you include the short impromptu match between the Blossoms and Ama-Reilly).
Nothing on the card instantly jumps out. Multi-Tag/Team bouts rarely turn out to be classics, and Eve’s record with these sort of bouts isn’t great anyway. On paper, Nikki vs April is probably the highlight of the card, but even without the title on the line, Nikki needs to win that one if she’s gonna have any credibility as champion. Shanna vs Alpha… I just prefer Shanna up against opponents who are better matched with her size and style. But I’ve never had much interest in ‘powerhouse’ wrestlers, from Nakano to Kong, it’s just personal preference.
Finally, the mystery tag-team will presumably/hopefully feature Erin Angel and, I dunno, maybe Janey B?
Four matches, though? That’s light, even for a Special Edition show. Still, as long as the male matches don’t go more than 3 or 4 minutes each, and all the Eve matches get at least 15 minutes, it could still be a decent show.

I think the marketing and print material for this event could have been a bit more inspired.
