Josue Guzman | Big Daddy V’s infatuation with Lillian Garcia. It was fun to see Lillian take on a different role other than just Ring Announcer. The role of being a heart breaker to heart broken and even taking a couple of bumps makes this romantic angle a memorable one. |

Growing up, My fave was Lita and Matt Hardy lol. I also liked when they paired Trish with Jeff Hardy too. As you can tell, I had a thing for the Hardy Boyz ;)

I was always a big fan of Low Ki (Kaval) and Layla so them being paired together was GENIUS to me, still is! They meshed so well together.

Lita and Edge seemed almost too perfect at times. Lita for some reason looked good with all the men she was with onscreen. Whether Essa, Edge or Matt Hardy.
HHH/Stephanie — to me — is the most iconic power couple in WWE history. Talk about dominating the industry. All opinions aside, they just FELT powerful. It worked so well.
I’m very excited to see what WWE does with Aj/Dolph Ziggler. These are two of the favorites among IWC. They are both beautiful, so entertaining and solid in ring performers. I’d believe they are the future of WWE.

Think I’ll go for the Canadian blonde bombshells, Jericho and Trish. I don’t know, the fact that they wrote the storyline together and they actually wanted to become a couple in the end (before Vince came up with the Trish heel turn), makes it a lot more special. These two put in a lot of work and passion into the storyline, especially when the two of them could have been chasing after championships.
I have always questioned, why was the WWE so eager to pair Jeff Hardy and Stratus? It happened twice but ended abruptly (Trish being injured, Hardy fired).

Trish and Mickie, obviously. It’s the only ‘romantic’ storyline that allowed full use of both wrestlers (rather than the Diva usually being in the background/non-wrestling role).
Plus, any ‘couple’ on the show inevitably leads to more intergender matches which are really just half-a-diva’s match (at VERY best).

The only problem with Trish and Mickie is that the romance was completely one-sided. At no point did Trish reciprocate Mickie’s affections, nor were there any signs of her ever doing so. Single White Female wasn’t a romantic movie, but more a psychological thriller. I think I’d place the Trish and Mickie affair firmly in the latter camp as well. :)

Definitely the Edge/Lita partnership.
Amazing heel couple who had chemistry that was off the charts. They were great together and were very entertaining and so raunchy.
The Rated R power couple’s one of the greatest WWE couples of all time.

Maxine and Derrick Bateman, and the bi-curious subtext when Dirty Curty entered the equation, was hilarious viewing.
Jamie Noble and Layla was a brief but pretty funny pairing, especially when she dumped him: “Where were you gonna take me, Jamie? The waffle house?!”

VInce McMahon – Trish Stratus (So devilishly fun to watch)
Eddie Guerrero – Chyna – These two were the best odd couple. The stereotypical Mexican Prince Charming and the Hulk-like 9th Wonder of the World. Made for some funny segments and memorable storylines. =)
Jamie Knoble – Nidia – I LOVED these two together. They were golden and alot more entertaining than some of the couples that get mentioned alot. These two were hilarious and perfect together. Its too bad Nidia declined WWE’s request to return w Knoble a few years ago. Nidia was one of my personal favorite Divas.
King Booker – Queen Sharmell – Wrestling Royalty and Comedy! Loved it!
JoMo- Melina – These two were perfect bad guys. Nobody really meshed well as these two did IMO, loved watching them and its too bad we didn’t see more couple vs couple matches with them. They never got to fight with Edge and Lita or King Booker and Sharmell for example.
Matt Hardy – Lita Cute couple – who lasted a long time in wrestling years
Steven Richards – Jazz – Odd Couple, but funny. We know Jazz wore the pants in this relationship.
X Pac – Tori Poch – Kinda had that bad ass couple vibe of Edge/Lita before there was Edge and Lita. You just know Pac and Tori had to be dirty and evil. XD
Jeff Hardy – Trish Stratus – Cute Couple, too bad it didn’t last. Made Trish seem cooler and presented her in a less slutty light.
The Hurricane – Mighty Molly – Goofy superheroes.
Spike Dudley – Molly Holly (Loved the Romeo-Juliet storyline)
Steve Blackman – Trish Stratus – They weren’t really a couple for all that long, but it seemed like they were headed somewhere before the alliance took over. I really liked this odd pairing. There was chemistry there.
Chris Jericho – Trish Stratus – They made a great couple while it lasted. I know we got a rekindled great rivalry with Lita/Trish as a result of the heel turn at Mania, but it feels like an uneven payoff looking back. I would have loved them to stay together for awhile and then they could have mutually broken off or something.
Christian – Trish Stratus – They started off hot, but then everything just fell apart. They became bland and cartoony as they tend to be by themselves..so it didn’t work in the end, but I liked the beginnings here. There was alot of potential.
Edge and Lita – At first I didn’t wrap my head around this one, but they turned out to be an excellent pairing. Too bad it came out of a real life situation, but the bright-side was that they took the art of the heel couple to new levels.
Carlito – Trish Stratus – Another odd pairing, but they certainly had chemistry and I’m sure Trish was comfortable as Carlito has been referred to as one of the girls..so it might have been easier exchanging ideas here lol, just my opinion.
Stevie Richards – Victoria – “Ivory! I heard about you! You’re like the village bicycle, everybody has had a try!” LMAO!
Not in order, but these are the pairings i enjoyed the most!

Yes! Nidia and Noble were epic! I love when Noble got his inheritance and Noble was like, “We’re going to Applebee’s!!!!”

When Kurt Angle was stalking Sharmell , there wasn’t too much love there but it was entertaining. Also I like Marsye & Ted Dibiase when they were feuding with Goldust & Aksana and the Eve & Zack Ryder storyline.
