CHIKARA has announced the next challenger for Eddie Kingston’s CHIKARA Grand Championship, and it’s none other than Amazing Kong!
Kong, previously known in WWE as Kharma, will be making her first CHIKARA appearance in almost three years. She last appeared for the promotion in 2010, teaming up with Raesha Saeed in a losing effort against Sara Del Rey and Daizee Haze.
She will face Kingston on March 8th in Tampa, Florida at the CHIKARA event Just Shadows in the Fog.
Kong will be the second woman to challenge Kingston for his championship, following Sara Del Rey’s unsuccessful attempt at the title in July at The Great Escape.

Kong has a pretty face.

Actually, CHIKARA haven’t confirmed that this match will be for the Grand Championship, it’s just a non-title singles match at the moment. Also the fact that they have a title match inked for the show the next day? Looks likely Kong Vs King will be non-title, and a match this big doesn’t need the title on the line anyway.
Regardless of whether the title is on the line or not, it’s going to be a hard hitting match. Hopefully they can do it justice like the Del Rey Vs Kingston match did, as there’s going to be high expectations for this match to be great.

Ah bugger, you’re right. Well spotted. That’s what I get for being in a hurry and not checking my sources thoroughly enough, my apologies.

Just want to correct you here. It’s not for the Grand Championship, at least not yet. Right now it remains just a singles match, but an awesome one.

Oh yeah. This should be a good one. Kong back kicking butt. I don’t know yet if I want to see her back in WWE I would like to see her back in TNA. I’d love to see a Tara v Kong match again in a cage.

YES! Get that belt, Kong!

Kia looks so beautiful in this pic. She’s such a wonderful person (well from what we’ve read, interviews, etc…) I think we’re all rooting for her to climb the ranks in the indies and make her way back to WWE very soon. I believe she will. =)

This is why chikara is the best.

I hope she wins, and I’m glad to see her back in wrestling. Kharma looks GREAT in the pic by the way ;)

Okay, seriously. Listen to me, people. We literally can see Kong’s outfit. That clothes was made when she was a wrestler in WWE. And she still uses it. And it’s been almost 2 years since she left WWE. When exactly will she come back? Will she just have a match in indy promotions foreva? :(

And she literally said that her heart lies with WWE. Speaking of her interview with Diva-Dirt, since it finished, there hasn’t any news of her coming back to WWE. It’s so sad as an adoring fan of hers.
