Tonight at Elimination Chamber, Divas Champion Kaitlyn went head-to-head with Tamina Snuka with the title on the line. As expected, Tamina’s “superflyin” style affected the match in a big way — just not in the manner she would have liked.
The culmination of the match saw Tamina perform a high risk Superfly Splash that was dodged by Kaitlyn at the last moment. This left Tamina vulnerable, and Kaitlyn took advantage of this by immediately hitting her with a spear. That double whammy was enough to lay out Tamina for the pin, and Kaitlyn scored the victory.
This match marked Kaitlyn’s first big Divas Title defense, and her win sets her on the road to WrestleMania with the belt still firmly around her waist.

Let’s be positive here! At least the divas maked the most of what they were given. I know they were placed before the main event but at least they were on the card and Tamina actually got a cool ring gear so props to her! I’m curious of why the divas were looking at backstage and Alicia didn’t even was on it!!

As I said in the Chamber discussion the length of the match was disappointing as it was starting to get really good. I actually think these two are capable of a decent fued if given the time.
The only thing about the match that deserves 5 stars is Tamina’s outfit. She was working that blue body-suit, loved the cut-outs!
& LOL @ Aksana all by her lonesome, they could’ve atleast gotten Rosa to stand next to her.

Tamina’s gear was awesome. I personally had no problem with the match other than the lack of build. It actually seemed like it was moving to me, which probably was because Tamina didn’t get a chance to slap on a rest hold. With the lack of build going in and Kaitlyn getting a definitive win, I say just stop this “feud” and move on to someone else heading into Wrestlemania.

The build was lackluster, but the match itself was pretty good!
I loved when Tamina bounced Kaitlyns head off the steel pole, I’m a huge mark for the Divas doing outside bumps!!
And Kaitlyns promo was pretty good, despite the awkward staring at the beginning!!!!

The match wasn’t bad, just not as long as it should’ve been, which us what initially upset me. Everything else was good. They worked well with the time given, they looked great, and them actually showing the girls talking before the match and the shot of the divas backstage watching were nice touches.

They made the best of what they were given, which is all they really can do in this situation. For what it was, the match was good and Kaitlyn and Tamina did well.

This match confirms it I think.On WWE.com it said the feud wasn’t over & in that promo Kaitlyn mentioned AJ so maybe there will be a triple threat match at WM! BTW while the match was short it was good & hard hitting & when Kaitlyn came out she got a decent pop.

I hope this doesnt signal the beginning of the end for Alicia fox. Cuz if so its a shame shes such an underated and misused talent. She deserves at least one good title reign that isnt a joke. I really hope she was just sick.

I really hope for a triple threat match at WM.I don’t neccessarily want Tamina to be in it,but as long as Kaitlyn and AJ or Layla are in it I’ll be fine.Also there’s gotta be a solid build up if this is gonna happen at all.AJ needs to be transitioned to being an in ring competitor again.Kaitlyn have to have a promo or a match every week.It’s not that hard.People are actually digging Kaitlyn even tho the reaction wasn’t big it was there.

Ok, so after watching it again… It wasn’t as bad as people are making it. I was originally upset that these two didn’t get more time, the match was only 3-4 minutes, but it was good and somewhat hard-hitting (as much as it could be with the time). I have to give the E’ props for showing segments and promos before the match, that was nice to see. Also, I’m really impressed with Kait’s crowd reaction. She actually gets a nice little pop. The spear was great, as well.

the match was pretty pretty boring. all Tamina did was walk around and posed for photo ops and all Kaitlyn did was a spear she doesn’t have many wrestling moves. was so fucking boring.
the List of the rest of the wwe divas and i can’t believe Linda McMahon said the current crop of divas is the best that has ever been seriously totally humiliationg to the wrestling business only 3 can wrestle

Cameron has potential and Rosa/Aksana are characters more than wrestlers. We also have NXT which is stacked with talent, with maybe Audrey being the only I don’t care for.

2/5 from me. Neither wrestler did anything wrong, but at the same time, neither wrestler really did anything at all. Normally I’m the first to demand the Divas get more times for their matches, but if we only see three or four wrestling moves in a three and half minute match, then what would giving them more time achieve?
Ultimately, this was just a match that did what we all expected. Filler and a rest-room break for a crowd completely with little to no interest in it. Which is no fault of Kaityln or Tamina in terms of the build up to the match. But it might have been nice to have seen them take what little time they’d been given and really went for it. Instead, they seemed happy enough just to go through the motions and be the filler match that everyone expected.

I actually liked the match, they put on a solid performance and made due with what they had as far as time is concerned. Tamina, I saw her give us some Beth Phoenix realness with that outfit, she looked snatched, so did Kaitlyn. And was I hearing things or was there a crowd reaction!?

Match was ok I’m a big tamina fan so let’s hope she’s still in the title pic & maybe she can change or add another finnisher liked tams ringgear & I never mention the divas gear but kudos for the new look tammy. I really don’t see a divas WM match this year hope I’m wrong though

The match was very good I was impressed, I wish it could have been longer, but Tamina was awesome. She was fast pace hard hitting and the finish worked. At this point I would like to see other Divas get more involved

Decent match and I’m actually glad they kept it short and sweet. Let’s hope we move on to AJ/Kaitlyn or hell even Naomi/Kaitlyn, Layla/Kaitlyn, or even Alicia/Kaitlyn. I do NOT want to see Tamina headline a divas match at WM.
