Following a successful first title defense at last night’s Elimination Chamber, WWE.com caught up with Divas Champion Kaitlyn to capture her thoughts.
Kaitlyn referred to her victory over Tamina Snuka as the “second biggest win” of her career, the first being her title win over Eve Torres last month.
She also was sure to emphasize the jitters she felt prior to the match, calling Tamina, “quite possibly the strongest/most terrifying woman I’ve ever been in the presence of,” and confessing that she saw her life flash before her eyes when Tamina went for the Superfly Splash.
Kaitlyn, of course, dodged that splash and went on to claim victory with a spear. On her plans for celebrating the victory, the Divas Champ mused about having some peanut butter or heading to Chili’s.

They are really trying to push Tamina as this Kharma esq monster heel lmao right

I hope that her reign starts to be relevant and have a real feud! Anyways, her match with Tamina was really good to me, but it was really short, and wouldnt mind to see them continue feuding as long as they develop an actual FEUD!

This is wwe feeble attempt to build up kaitlyn as a strong diva by pinning tammy!! That’s good IF she had more opponents like tamina they should have kept tammy for her last feud before dropping the title typical wwe arse from elbow !!!!!

She’s the cutest thing ever. Please let them do something with her and another Diva for WM. The most logical choice would be AJ, but WWE isn’t known for having the best logic.

Gonna celebrate with peanutbutter. :p
Was obvious that she will successfully defend and the match was good for what it was.
The head slam to the apron with the bump to the outside was a great spot and one of the rarest moment in the division since they are not allowed to do such things like in 99% of the time.
I even thought they will get heat for it but since the match was very short for a title defence and didn’t had much action either (real hard hitting moments were missing if compared to previous matches they had), I doubt the management even cared they did this spot, they should be ok.
I really hope that they either continue the feud with Tamina wanting a rematch by having a good build up and good matches and segments in between to work towards it.
Then let another Diva get involved and interfere (if its a face, turn on Kaitlyn in a crucial moment so she can get a chance on the title, if it’s a heel, work with Tamina only to backstab Tamina and try to get the title for herself).
They can do wonderful things with Kaitlyns reign and they have a good crop of divas to work with, they just need to actually do it and everything should go well.

AJ she pretends to save Kaitlyn from Tamina only to find out Tamina is her bodyguard but she really working for Vickie

We already know that Tamina is working for Vickie and AJ was against her till now so it would be a bit akward.
Other than that Kaitlyn doesn’t trush AJ anymore and it will be very hard for AJ to gain this trust back after everything that has happened in the meantime.
So such a ankle is a bit tricky for now but can still work if played correctly. :)

Funny how they seem to be ignoring the fact that Kaitlyn already faced Tamina in several matches on NXT prior to this and, I think, beat her every time. So calling Kaitlyn the underdog in this match was kind of silly, but I guess they just want us to forget about that.

NXT was a web show that not everyone were watching back then so it “doesn’t count” for them.
For us that were watching it is still weird though but oh well… :/

I hope they dropped that “terrifying” thing because clearly, she dominates Tamina in the match.

I think it’s a little overdramatic that she said her life flashed before her eyes. She could’ve said she saw her title run flash before her eyes…
