SHIMMER Women Athletes have announced that their champion, Saraya Knight, will be defending her title on British soil against Destiny at Bellatrix 5 in Norwich, England.
This will mark the first time that the SHIMMER Championship has been defended in the UK, and the second time that the title has been defended outside the United States, the first being when Madison Eagles defended it against Nicole Matthews and Jessie McKay in Australia in September 2011.
The match will also be contended under traditional British rounds rules, which dictate ten rounds of three minutes length each, with the first wrestler to gain two falls winning the bout.
Bellatrix 5 will take place at Epic Studios in Norwich, England on Sunday, March 24th. Tickets can be purchased online at their official website.

WOW who would’ve thought someone like Destiny would ever fight for the most prestigious belt in women’s wrestling?

I really like how the title is being defended all over the world now and not just in the U.S. It makes it feel like a more prestigious championship. I hope there is more international matches to come!
