Yay for a divas match and for the champion being part of it. Last week when they put “awkward” in the description it really wasn’t beyond from one jacknife cover so I’m not taking that seriously until I see it.

My hope is for a triple threat, AJ vs. Tamina vs. Kaitlyn for the divas title. 7 weeks is plenty enough time to somehow get AJ in the title picture but we’ll probably end up getting a face vs. heel tag match, well that’s if the divas even get a match this year.
Not really digging the description of the match, the divas are already seen as a joke enough as it is. I’m glad were getting a match on Smackdown though they could have atleast made Tamina get the win here to build her up as the monster heel if they plan on continuing her fued with Kaitlyn.

The spoiler I read says that Kaitlyn pinned Tamina again so it don’t seem like they’re going to be continuing that feud.

It’s kinda eerie how similar Kaitlyn’s title reign is to Layla’s. I mean both Divas sent packing the Diva that they won the title from, both Divas beat a “dominant Diva” to solidify their reigns. And both Divas ran roughshod through the division beating every Heel and part-time Heel in their way while spending weeks doing nothing with no storyline or feuds.
If AJ returns to the divas division and wins the divas title from Kaitlyn you could make the analogy of AJ being the Eve to Kaitlyn’s Layla. Both AJ and Eve were stuck in non-wrestling roles during the other’s title reign and were losing Diva matches as well initially in their returns(AJ to Natalya, Eve to AJ as well as Kelly Kelly). And both AJ and Eve returned to the division out of nowhere.
It would be funny if history repeated itself here.

yeah they cant make me belie that Beth or Tamina are dominate if they keep losing clean to the champion.
If they were like Mark Henry in 2011 (before Big Show returned) winning clean and be more brutal then you can day their dominate.
I think there need to be a heel that attacks NXT women (could be that newbies that SDR trains or any face women there) to show their brutality I mean there is not a lot of main roster women. Then SDR could debut wanting to fight.
Glad to see Layla on the winning side of a match for a change. She may be the oldest diva there, but she can still work circles around most of what’s left in the division.

I dont know what’s planned for Wrestlemania. AJ vs Kaitlyn seems a bit late to promote, but a divas title match could work. I could see them doing Naomi vs Kaitlyn.
My hope for Wrestlemania is a six pack challenge or fatal 4 way for the divas title. But what were going to get is Team kaitlyn vs Team Tamina which sucks just because with time the divas could be better than the men which a few of them are.
I actually think they could do something with this apparent backstage segment. Most of us know that Cody and Layla were a couple, and WWE weren’t shy about using the two’s history in a segment a couple months ago. Creative should work on Cody and Kaitlyn getting close and Layla being all ‘how can my friend do this?’ then have the two of them fued and have a SINGLES match for the Divas Championship at Wrestlemania.
I like that there is a match. However, I would like some sort of storyline or acknowledgment that Tamina is out of the title picture. Hell give Aksana a title feud, at least she has a character even if she “can’t wrestle”, which I think she can.

I’m just so baffled at the fact that, whether it not you agree, the division is at a low once again. I know everytime a diva departs the, “OH LAWD! FUCK WWE! IT’S FUCKING STUPID! THE DIVISION IS DEAD!”, comments arise, but the division really is at this point. The lack of proper character definition is surprisingly ten fold. It’s just so…sad…
