On this day in history:

February 26th, 2001 | Trish Stratus and Stephanie McMahon‘s feud wasn’t resolved by their grudge match at No Way Out, and being booked in a Mixed Tag Team match the next night only added fuel to the fire. Stephanie teamed with William Regal to take on her father and Trish, who made their entrance with a bucket of mysterious-looking slop in tow. In the middle of the match, Vince called an end to it and suddenly turned on Trish, teaming with Regal and Stephanie to dump the slop on her. While Trish floundered in the filth, Vince told her that she was only “daddy’s little toy” and that “playtime” was over. It was the first truly sympathetic moment for the heel Trish, who would go on to be one of the most popular babyfaces in the history of the Divas division.

But Trish did dump Stephanie’s face in manure haha
“Battle of who is the biggest hoe-bag in WWF”
Lol thank u and RIP Test!! :D

But gotta say, Trish has always looked incredibly hot when she’s wet in water gravy mud or Cheerios!
Luckily I don’t remember Trish for her sloppy moments lol mostly or her crazy hard core matches and beatings she took

I’ve always wondered did they dump real slop on her or was that some type of clean paste. I’d still rather get this then get manure in my face like Steph did. & I think trish rub her face in a clump of horse crap too.

This was so crazy! I remember watching at home and thinking, poor Trish, but it’s not like she didn’t deserve it? She was messing with the royal family of wrestling and unless you’re someone like The Rock or Stone Cold or Undertaker, you always lose against the McMahons. I’ve always admired (character-wise) The Divas who mix it up with the McMahon family, because you know they’re going into a Lion’s Den and will come out beat up or tarnished one way or the other.
Trish was humiliated time after time, Jackie was screwed out of the Women’s title, Lita was brutally attacked, and so on…. After this incident, I felt bad for Trish becoming the little slave girl, but I guess it worked out in the end. She changed her ways after the Invasion and became a very likable diva.

Wow great way of putting it. :)
Yes Jackie and Lita were screwed bad by the McMahon-Helmsley Faction.
Lita and the Hardy Boys however with help from The Rock did pierce through and took the Women’s Championship away from her haha!! Plus Tori from DX was destroyed through a table by the Dudley Boyz
    Go Lita!!
And Trish well she deserved it after all she was riding bitch side on the McMahon Cadillac.. Test put it best Stephanie vs Trish = battle of who is the biggest hoe-bag in WWF lol
Sable however, was McMahons mistress yet she never paid for it, maybe it was payback for suing them for Sexual Harrassment and storyline wise it was Stephanie and her mother who were run over by Vince Sable Brock Lesnar Paul Heyman A-Train and Kane.. Even Kurt Angle and Undertaker couldn’t stop them and both were crushed in the attempt.
Man survivor series 2003 was the day when evil and injustice won :(

Props to the women who got into the lions den

Yeah I really wanted Sable to get her ass handed to her, was funny when she got her Rita exposed though haha..and when Undertaker choked Sable that was really the only karma she got

Oddly Stephanie mauling Sable was satisfying! Lol
And at the same time I sort of feared for Steph because well Sable was idk I guess at the time I thought holy hell! Former Women’s Champion in great shape, but Steph kicked her ass lol
Yet was also impressed with Sable as well
What was weird when Paul Heyman became the GM on SD Sable and Torrie are seen next to one another as just divas next to all the guys while Paulie sais NO PREFERENCIAL treatment is allowed.. Like if the whole Sable and Vince thing never happened then sable goes on to be just a diva, (saw a house show was only a bikini contest where dawnmarie kicked her ass) and then playboy

I don’t really remember this stage of Trish’s career. I really remember liking Trish after Chyna left. Cause Chyna was my first favorite. And watching Trish do the things she did, I knew she was going to be big. I wounder if Trish was not to retire and stayed in this buissness to current day, would the division be different. Or would she have fallen into the generations limitations. and we watch her career waste…

    Ryan Reply:

Good question.. But not long before Trish retired she was just randomly a ppearing a few times, but with purpose, Trish was loosing and Lita was winning matches. But at the same time at least E had enough respect to let Trish go out in top.. The more common road divas take is well simply disappearing off TV.

However in early 2005 after Lita was injured and Diva Search was on full blast, Trish, the womens championship, Victoria and Molly were all sidelined and pushed to Sunday Night Heat that eventually just became an online show to make room for Diva Search segments. Which dont get me wrong, I liked too :)
Wasn’t until Christy Hemme’s Playboy/WrestleMania push that Trish was brought back to the picture in March.

I’m sure eventually Trish would of just been drawn into the shuffle, and dragged on, however great timing and smart decisions, Trish left while it was still good.

  6. I actually thought this was worse than the infamous bark-like-a-dog segment. It’s a 3-on-1 assault, with two of the three perpetrators being men (William Regal hits her with a neckbreaker after Vince pulls her in the ring by the hair), and the end result was disgusting. Then again, Trish had rubbed Stephanie’s face in manure a week prior …
