It’s been 10 years since Trish Stratus was named Diva of the Decade as part of Raw’s 10th Anniversary celebration. With Raw’s 20th Anniversary just behind us, we think it’s time to look back at the last decade and crown a Diva of the Decade for the 2003-2013 period. Will Trish hang on to the crown, or will another Diva emerge? It’s all up to you!
Based on your nominations, we picked the 16 most popular Raw Divas to advance to our knock-out bracket tournament. Keep your eyes peeled over the next several weeks as you will be asked to choose between the greatest Raw Divas of this past decade and help us narrow it down from just 16 to one! Even I understand the kids part, I have to say that other female wrestlers had children too and they still kept wrestling so not wrestling because one has kids is a excuse since you don’t have to be on the road the whole time but rather do a few gigs here and there.
If she doesn’t want her children to know that she jumped around half or almost totally naked the whole time then I understand that.
However, she was a wrestler so it shouldn’t be anything to be ashamed off.

Candice, one of the few “model” divas that actually improved, she busted her ass for the Women;s Championship! Maria, oh, did nothing really, nothing memorable!!!!

Candice Michelle was better she learned her craft and became a great wrestler until Beth Injured her.
Maria had no wrestling ability she falls under the same Category as Kelly Kelly Ashley Massaro and Rosa Mendes. Horrible wrestler.

It’s a no contest here for me – Candice! Went from the slutty Vinces Devils heel, who could barely wrestle, to a Women’s Champion who impressed all. I only wished she hadnt gotten injured again back in 2008 and was in the Bunnymania tag!

I’m going to vote for Candice here because even though Maria’s accomplished stuff outside of WWE, I feel Candice accomplished a lot more in WWE than Maria and made a bigger impact and was better in the ring. Just my opinion. My vote goes to Candice Michelle. :)

Candice. She went from eye candy to wrestler and a pretty good one until she got injured. Maria lasted longer maybe but the only real program she had with her as the star was the Bunny Mania thing and then she went back to the background like she had been before. Candice had the Vince’s Devils thing and her feuds with Melina and Beth Phoenix.

Just because Layla hasn’t had any memorable reigns as champion doesn’t mean she wasn’t better in the ring than Candice was. You don’t have to be an in-ring veteran to succeed in the WWE, there are roles for everyone to play.
I personally think Layla is the better of the two inside the ring, and although I really could never get behind Candice as I always felt she looked awkward, I do respect her efforts in bettering herself to earn that Women’s Championship.

I honestly really got a lot of love for both girls. I started watching wrestling again when it was Candice and Victoria vs the world. And I saw both grow. They may not be the best technical wrestlers, but every Diva fan has a soft spot for Maria and Candice. I’ll give it to Maria for the fact that she never gets as much love for her amount of dedication to the buisness. Either could easily go to the semi’s though.

Candice’s feud with beth and melina got me into the divas. Love her and she improved so much. It seemed as if wwe wanted her to be the next trish. If it hadn’t been for that clavicle injury, I think she would’ve had way more success. Over Maria, I go with candice definitely :D

Candice was actually THE top diva in WWE at one point during her run, so I am gonna have to go with her. Maria was pretty popular, but Candice was better. She won the Women’s title, Diva of the Year (WWE Magazine), first woman to win Most Improved (WWE Mag and PWI), and woman of the year for PWI too. She was on a roll.
