Is TNA contacting former Knockouts to return for their upcoming One Night Only: Knockout Knockdown Pay-Per-View?
Well, they have contacted at least one: former five-time Knockouts Champion Angelina Love.
Angelina was asked by a fan on Twitter whether she had been asked to return to the company for the special event, to which she replied:
They asked me but I politely declined. RT @xajleenerdx: @actualalove are you going to be at that TNA Knockout PPV?

The former Beautiful People member was granted her release from TNA back in July 2012 and has since competed for the likes of Pro Wrestling: EVE.
Angelina is set to make her SHINE debut at SHINE 8 in a blockbuster Eight-Woman Tag match later this month.
As we reported yesterday, One Night Only: Knockout Knockdown will be taped on Sunday, March 17th.

Such a shame. It would be nice to see some Knockouts form the past like Roxxi, Sojo Bolt, Awesome Kong, Alissa Flsh, Traci Brooks, Taylor Wilde would be shocking.

I would die to seeg OMFG BCK TO THE DAYS OF KIM AND KONG that’s what it was about people where buzzing for that feud in the indies and other promotions people knew it! KONG VS KIM ROUND 2! sadly no Knockouts division has changed =( atleast we have Kim, and James who is MIA odb? and Tara love her but I can see her retiring this year

she is by far the knockout i want most to return. i kno she was heavily involved in the title picture during her return to TNA and a lot of people got sick of her, but she had great matches. sucks TNA gave her that storyline with Winter and then just pretty much dropped the both of them

She either said that to make her appearance a surprise or she’s just not having what TNA has turned into and how they kicked her out…either way I see where she’s coming from.

yeah after the way they treated her and released her along with most of the roster that wasnt a star in wwe first. I wouldn’t blame her for having nothing to do with TNA until hulk hogan and his old cronies are out of the picture.

Precisely what I was coming to say. It would definitely be nice, however — If she really Isn’t going to return I can definitely understand. Between her not wanting to leave and then being shoved out regardless, I think It would be too much to stomach, having the reminder. It really Is a shame because Angel Is so great and I think that she had a pretty sucky exit/was used to the LEAST of her potential before they let go of her. Which as an angel fan was somewhat of a huge lowblow. Aside from my own personal want for some Angel on my television I’m not/can’t be mad over this. As a fan you want what’s best for your favorites,even If It means you miss out of something that would be awesome.

I would have loved for Angelina to return and back Velvet up for a night by challenging Gail Kim to a singles match. They’ve worked together before but I think now more than ever that match has potential.

I think there is a reason either she is hiding it or didn’t want to I mean ever since Hogan came in sure we had some good matches but never in the peak of 07-mid 09 POOR ANGELINA =( she should be there , we where demoted to booty shaking, stripping, refferees who epitomize T&A and a daughter who is in the cenerfold of the division thanks Prichard =(

TNA totally blew her return run. They kept her away from speaking for weeks or even months at a time. Jobbed her out. Gave her a kooky dead gimmick. And then just forgot about her. Since leaving TNA, she’s been busy with wrestling and entertainment things. In a decent product, I’d love to see her again. But that is for Shine, WSU, etc. TNA and the knockouts have faded and there is no longer a purpose in her coming back to job a quick match and then leave again.

Right know she is a better fit for WWE and she could make a history by becoming the first EX.Knockout to win the divas title.
