Ivelisse Velez was revealed as the Knockout for the Aces and Eights. Ivelisse Velez defeated. Mickie James following a run in from Mr. Anderson and Wes Brisco. Anderson distracted the ref while Wes pushed Mickie off the too rope allowing Ivelisse to get the win.
* Team USA defeated. Team Aces and Eights to win the World Cup of Wrestling.
Order of Eliminations
- Kenny King by Wes after he covered him with Ivelisse holding the ropes.
- Ivelisse by Mickie after a top rope Lou thesz press.
- Mickie by Wes after a roll-up
- Wes by Storm after a lungblower.
- Knox by Daniels after BME.
- After Storm accidentally hit Daniels, Bad Influence walked out on Storm leaving him against DOC and Anderson.
- Storm rolled up Anderson then followed up with the Last Call on DOC to win the match as the sole survivor.
* Bad Influence came out to celebrate with Storm. Storm laid out both of them. Mickie came out and she and Storm held up the trophy and Storm had a beerbash to celebrate.

i kinda feel like gut check is tna’s way of just showcasing people off before they sign them. i know sometimes peole dont get signed but usualyy they do.

You could argue its fake anyway as they have ‘signed’ the likes of Wes Brisco (already appeared on TNA before his match), Joey Ryan (planned for a storyline even though he never got a contract) and Alex Silva & Taeler Hendrix (signed to TNA’d development territory, OVW). But does it really matter if its somewhat fake? At least we get to see faces that we dont see all the time in TNA.

I think this works for Velez tbh.A&E don’t play by the rules so having a gut check regect doesn’t hurt the gut check imo.Also…I think she’s a natural heel.

Glad to see Ivelisse though I got a laugh out of Aces & 8′s being involved in this. Imagine that meeting: “We’re not just a club now guys. We’re a god damn country.”

Not gonna lie, but this looks to be the most interesting out of all the TNA PPVs so far, so I’ll definetly be watching this one.
And I totally called Ivelisse joining Aces & Eights down the line. Cant wait to see this unfold on TV in the future.

The outfit she had on when she fought Reby Sky at FWE in February would be fitting OR the black outfit with pants ripped on the sides and a leather jacket with her hair tagged on one side like she used in one of the SHINE iPPVs would fit too. :)

This wasn’t suppose to be the card because TNA didn’t the select talent they were suppose to bring in due to last minute visa issues. Konnan revealed that AAA were going to send a few talents including Jennifer Blake

It would be cool if they would let her either cut a promo that turning her down on gutcheck for a “newbie” was a bad decision and that Aces and Eights aknowledge her potential and so on….
Or Bully could explain that they were impressed with her and they grabbed the opportunity after she was turned down or something.
Either way, they could use the gutcheck decision as a excuse and reveal that hogan was the one that told them not to accept her in case they need to involve him somehow.
