On this day in history:
March 20th, 2006 | After effectively turning on Trish Stratus a few days prior by hitting her with both the Chick Kick and the Stratusfaction, Mickie James wished to show her that there were “no hard feelings” between them. She had a gigantic gift box set up in the ring, which was lifted up to reveal a bound up Ashley Massaro. Trish came to her rescue, but Mickie managed to fight her off, laying her out with the Mickie T before planting a kiss on the unconscious Women’s Champion.

Epic segment, one of the best in Diva history

There was a report today that wwe had a planned match were 5 former divas(Kelly Kelly, The Bella Twins, Maryse, and Maria) were going to face 5 current divas(Kaitlyn, Layla, and 3 others) in a 10 diva tag match at Wrestlemania where Trish Stratus would manage one of the teams! Which would mean Kelly and Maria probably would have turned heel since the old girls probably would have been the antagonists! Unfortunately, only the Bella Twins as of now have resigned so the match was scrapped because wwe apparently had all the girls’ return deals in place for months now! Another thing to note is that Maria might return since she’s been hinting at a wwe return for some time now(I heard her time in the indies and roh has really improved her mic skills and her wrestling has gotten a bit better too) but I don’t think Kelly or Maryse will since they don’t seem to have any interest in returning at this time!
