Today in History: Daffney Kidnaps Tara’s Tarantula
On this day in history:
March 21st, 2010 | Daffney didn’t find herself in the title mix as often as her fellow Knockouts, but she did receive a shot at Tara‘s Knockouts Championship at 2010′s Destination X. The Scream Queen wasn’t victorious, but she did manage to take home something of Tara’s: a certain tarantula named Poison. Funnily enough, this seemed to trouble Tara more than any title loss would, and she ran after the spider thief like a bat out of hell.

Yea, I was thinking the same thing! I always thought it was funny that the damn spider got a ring entrance, but in wwe when the divas valet someone the announcer completely ignores their existence!

The last real Knockout fued that had me interested in it. Shame it was so short, they could have so much more with this story. Or with Daffney in general, but we all know how that ended…

I loved this feud. Watching Daffney in TNA now though makes me sad because of how that ended.

March 10 2006 Jillian Hall and Kristal Marshall make the Divas Uncovered match! Excellent match and hot as fawk! Jillian and Kristal are awesome and at the end Kristal gave us the sweetest sexiest most charismatic striptease I have seen on TV haha WOOOOO!!!
Following week they go at it again really good to match with Regal and Burchill in the mix. Then they stop

This rivalry was very interesting to see because of the similarities the two women shared. Or atleast, once shared. Victoria coming from WWE where she became famous for her psycho turned goofy antics, and Daffney’s “Harley Quinn” type character; well it was an exciting idea to see unfold. Sadly this wasn’t a very long feud, but I loved seeing them fight each other.

This match was awesome. Great effort by both girls. It’s unfortunate how Daffney was treated in TNA and her injuries, though.

Was a great match with good spots and it also told a story with the outcome it had.
Funny how paige started to do exact the same scream Daffney used to do btw, yet people say its unique and “original”. :p
Though to be fair more girls did it prior to daffney aswell. ^_^

And the split too hat combo from Daffney is cute as fawk!! I love her tats her twister crooked smile and the deranged look on her face, she’s one sexy woman
Her skills were pretty on point but not as great
She’s more memorable for going through those brutal hardcore moments like getting German Suplexed into a pool of thumbtacks by Taylor Wilde, and the awesome Hardcore Match with The awesome Hamada featuring a chair collar driven throat first into the rig post and the Moonsault into the table!! Plus to finish it off, the Hamada Driver!!

Can’t help feel guilty for loving those painful moments from Daffney knowing now the costs and toll it took on her body damaging her really good =(

Jessie Bell does the same split in her entrance and she dared to do it at SHINE 7 when Daffney were the in ring announcer and hostess. :p
Daffney took out her shoe and wanted to hit her with it for that. ^_^
She was also pissed the whole night about it though which was kinda out of place.
At the end of the show and after the lights went out the mic was obviously still on at the commentary because we heard Daffney saying “I’m gonna punch her in the face!”. –__–
Luna was also a screamer and 99% if not all 100 of the Japanese female wrestlers are aswell.

Tara in a small interview said that she ran through 3 tarantulas. And that ironically she has arachnophobia lol
The first tarantula fell of her hands and exploded like a light bulb on the ground when it fell
Another it’s legs fell off
And the last one survived. I think. What was the name of that damn spider????

According to daff TNA forced her or pressured her to do crazy hardcore stunts. Such as taking moonsaults on a table, chair shots, chair throat shots and also aside from other hard hitting objects landing on a pool of thumbtacks flat on her back
As awesome as it was to watch and gruesome it ultimately hurt and damaged her
Rosie Lotta Love literally squashed her and did internal damage to daff
TNA refused to pay her medical expenses, and also eventually released her. She sued TNA and after 2 years of legal battle TNA finally started paying some. She didn’t mention this until like last year.
It’s odd TNA treated her like this :(
But that’s why. All those sick stunts shortened her wrestling career

Actually it was the spot with Rosie that got her injured and made her retire, not the other ones.
That’s also why the whole thing started cause Daffney was afraid to do the spot and didn’t wanted to, yet they did everything to convince her to do it which ended up with her fear becoming true with Rosie injuring her badly at the spot due to her sloppyness (she wasn’t a safe worker).
After that Daffney ended up at the hospital, Rosie got finally released, Bully Ray got pissed because Rosie was “his talent” (he brought her to TNA and convinced them to keep her even they were unsure because she was sloppy and botchy often).
The lawsuit came and everything went down from there.

No the spot she didn’t want to do was where Abyss chokeslammed her through the barbed wire board..and the worst part is that TNA’s policy of no man on woman violence meant that the spot wasn’t allowed to be aired.

Actually Daff had some really good tits ;)

Her voice when she wasn’t acting crazy was sexy
