Your Two Cents: What Do You Want to See on the Divas Reality Show?

“Your Two Cents” is our interactive feature where we gauge the opinions of our Twitter and Facebook followers on different discussions in women’s wrestling.

This week, we’re asking this: With a Divas Reality Show officially announced, we want to know: what do you hope to see on the show? We’ve read your responses on our social media pages and picked some of the best submissions to highlight here on the website. As always, you can join the debate by leaving your comments!

Ahl Anthony Aggari | Reality shows would be boring without drama, so I hope to see some real catfights!
Amanda Paige-Morris | I really don’t want to see drama between the Divas. I am expecting for the show to show the hard work and dedication on what it takes to be a successful Diva. Show the realness or “Raw” on what their life really is. So females (like myself) can understand the life as a female wrestler to decide if that is a career path they are want have.
Ashley Matthew | How about special matches occasionally on the show? I would also love to see some cameos from past WWE Divas who no longer work for the company.
Josue Guzman | More than anything I want to see a new growth to the division. This is WWE’s opportunity to refresh their women’s division in a new way!

Let’s hear more Natalya‘s upbringing inside the Hart Dungeon. Keen in on the sibling support Brie and Nikki Bella give one another. Get to know more about Naomi and Cameron aside from being those dancers for Brodus Clay. And of course all the training these Divas go through for when the time to get into the ring arrives.

Lars Peter Tvilling Olsen | Preparations to matches! How they make their clothes and who designs them! Training new moves and action in the ring! Comments on matches happening both male and female!
Mary-Helen Clark | I would like to see a focus on the title. AJ & Kaitlyn can feud without the title with Nikki as champ. I think if people saw the expectations & emotions that go with being a “fake” champ, more mainstream fans would appreciate the work these girls do.
Roderick Walker | I want to see AJ Lee, Vickie Guerrero, Summer Rae, Paige, Layla, Trish Stratus, Lita, Stephanie McMahon, Kaitlyn and Alicia Fox all make cameos
@SasaZekzi | I really want to see a lot of cattiness and possibly some brawls, although I know that’s pushing it. Anything like Bad Girls Club and I’ll be happy! No boring behind-the-scenes crap nobody cares about, just give us the good stuff!
@SymonPeak | For me, it’s less about what I hope to see (my expectations in terms of actual content are already pretty low). It’s more about what I hope WON’T happen. My concern is that this sort of show will only serve to promote the idea of women in the WWE as eye-candy/actresses first, and as wrestlers a very distant second.

The scary part is that if this show does become a success (as unlikely as that may be), the knock-on effect to the women’s division, perhaps even to women’s wrestling as a whole, could ultimately be very detrimental indeed.

@WWEAussieFan | I hope we get to see more Divas introduced to the show. In my opinion, Alicia Fox would easily make a great addition to the show. Add Layla and Rosa into the show and it would be perfect. I also hope we get to see Cameron run her mouth, though as she seems like she could easily do so (in the nicest way possible..)

And now we turn it over to you…

What are your two cents on the debate? What do you want to see from the new Divas reality show? Tell us in the comments…

I want to see Sara Del Rey Training Camp for the Divas I bet they aren’t sitting around singing camp fire song’s LOL!!!!

    • pumped up kicks

Yes I too am interested in Del Rey’s training!

      • jcarcano12

        Your a genius

I think more than anything it’s great that it’ll open up the women to a much broader audience, especially considering the mass following of women follow E! and how popular all women reality shows are right now.

Also am I the only one who thinks Maryse would be PERFECT for this?

And honestly now I see why The Bella Twins and Cameron and Naomi were supposed to get the WrestleMania matchup. WWE was booking that for exposure. It’s the way of the business.

    No.

Diva reality show. Pros: TV time for the girls. Girls have an hour to show a different side to them.
In this ever growing easy access world, back then getting to know Lita and Trish on a more personal level was every here and there with WWE specials. Now getting to know Kaitlyn Layla and the rest of the gang is quite easy and awesome! Twitter Youtube Facebook.. Easy access.
But reality show would let them all interact

Con: less wrestling time. I have a feeling that wwe will use the “u chicks have a reality show” card to slice more time off the divas..
I feel wwe is really pulling away from wrestling fans and now I see they want a different audience. I don’t belong to this audience, fact is I am a foreign object :(

I have not watched WWE since 2010.. Smackdown was off the My Network TV so I didn’t care to follow anymore. Plus their matches and product as a whole is just.. I’m embarrassed to watch it.. So I don’t. However the divas I have love for them and I still care for them and are the ONLY thing from wwe i watch, so thanks diva dirt, u have been my portal for women’s wrestling in wwe since I will never time in to them again
TNA that’s a whole other monster, well TNA is more of a beast!! Love TNA and watch the entire show!! From Austin Aries and Angle to Zima Ion and the Knockouts in between!

I want wrestling. I love the wrestling “drama” that gets settled the old fashion way, in the ring.
Even back in 2005, Melina met and confronted Christy Hemme in the parking lot for having a loud motorcycle, a dyno glide low rider harley, and started a fued over… a broken nail
Had an awesome physical match from it. That’s what I like.

But hey, lets see how this reality show works for em, me I won’t watch it

    • jonboi

Right what you just said is all me too. Keep it real buddy ;)

  • k2evecrew

Melina & marsye would’ve been great for this show they should bring them back to be on it.

What I would love to see: what the girls do in and out the ring , them going to night clubs after wrestling at shows, drama with Nikki dating cena (like if other divas say she’s using him to get a push ) , jumping girls in the club that try to fight one of them , I wanna see if the Bella’s remind the other girls that they are rookies, if Natalya likes to hang out with Khali outside of wrestling , I wanna see them take shots at the tna knockouts by saying something like haha we got a tv show u guys don’t ( I could see one of the newer girls saying it ). & I wanna see nioami curse someone out backstage .

    • k2evecrew

& I wanna see Cameron comment on how she was the first one Kicked off of tough enough & stone cold tore her apart but she’s the only one from the show that got a wwe contract

  • iLUVValets

I want to see them training, I want to see their real views and frustration with the state of the division. I want to See Naomi, Cameron, and The Bellas REAL reaction to their Wrestlemania match getting scrapped. I want to know if Naomi and Cameron get along. Hell I want to know which divas that don’t like each other. Cattiness and Bitch fights please. I wan’t the real tea on the backstage environment. WWE has a huge opportunity for this. But its most likely going to be scripted

  • http://twitter.com/rodneyclint rodneyclint

Like most reality shows now I’m sure a lot will be scripted. So I’m expecting lots of cattiness! Plus it’d be cool to see them training and maybe see some footage of them traveling.

  • jonboi

Nothing absolutely nothing….. Unless it gives them more exposure in wwe & out of it. Maybe not out of wwe as divas often get let go when they have outside projects. I have no interest in this I’m just hoping the girls get more storylines matches etc

  • https://twitter.com/branth89 Mr. Asstastic

I feel bad for anyone expecting this to be Bad Girls Club or Tough Enough. This will be more along the lines of Keeping Up With the Kardashians or Girls Next Door.

    • https://www.facebook.com/matt.medina.75 Matt

Speaking if Bad Girls Club, Naomi needs to be on season 12 now!

  • Al

Some people are really going to be let down by this show; it’s a reality show, people, not a documentary. With that said, I really hope it’s more in line with the Housewives franchise than Keeping Up with the Kardashians, but chances are it’ll be more like the later.

  • DivaMatches

I’m hoping it will be the bad girls club, documentaries, jersey shore, and with challenges like ‘i love money’ all in one lol scripted or not, as long as its done correctly and with drama it’ll work out. I know I’m watching the season premiere, just hope the show is NOT PG !!!!!!!

  • http://twitter.com/RyanRoman0 Ryan

Btw I have show we my dislike towards extreme feminists, (women have equal rights on case you didn’t know ladies..smh women..)
But shows like Kardashians, Housewives, Bad Girls Club and all of those shows.. The cattiness, the pettiness.. Most people want female empowerment, and Yadi Yadi Yada.. But don’t these reality shows make women look, stupid? ;)

I mean most divas like Katelyn keep it simple keep it real and is tough tough.. So is Naomi AJ Layla Natalya Tamina Aksana.. They seem BS free aka what I like in women..
The rest of the girls.. And I purposely didn’t mention them, the rest are… Well u guess what my genuine disrespectful opinion on them is ;)

Sadly these are some of the highest rated shows I hear lol..

  • http://youtube.com/kristalmelinafan kristalmelinafan

Unscripted. That’s what i want to see. Realness.

  • Benni

Can’t wait to see this show, hope it becomes a success for the wwe divas. Sigh this show has PG written all over it
