Tessa Blanchard Wins the First Super 8 ChickFight Tournament

Tonight in Carney’s Point, New Jersey, eight women made history in the first ever all-women Super 8 ChickFight tournament.

The event, presented by ECWA in conjunction with Diva Dirt, saw third generation star Tessa Blanchard take the trophy and the ECWA Women’s Championship after advancing through the three rounds.

Tessa defeated Tina San Antonio, Renee Michelle and Jenny Rose to take the crown.

    Round 1:

  • Jenny Rose def. Annie Social in 7:15 via a Boston Crab.
  • Gabby Gilbert def. Nikki Addams in 8:43 with a crossface submission.
  • Renee Michelle def. Candy Cartwright in 6:38 after hitting a backflip moonsault.
  • Tessa Blanchard def. Tina San Antonio in 7:01 via a running bulldog.
  • Round 2:

  • Jenny Rose def. Gabby Gilbert in 7:13 with a Boston Crab.
  • Tessa Blanchard def. Renee Michelle in 6:20 via a slingshot suplex.
  • Finals:

  • Tessa Blanchard def. Jenny Rose in 8:58 with a reverse roll-up.
