The WWE may be making the final moves to secure a handful of new talents.
According to a report from the Wrestling Observer (via Lords of Pain), Kana and Nikki Storm are scheduled to take the final WWE medical tests in October, which would indicate that both are on the verge of signing, if not signed already.
A report from the Observer last week stated that Kana was already under contract, so Storm could be in the same scenario.
Kana is currently scheduled to appear at Stardom in Japan in October, but it is being said this will likely be her farewell. She is expected to start with WWE in November. Storm – a competitor on TNA’s British Boot Camp 2 – is also working regularly, performing for Pride Wrestling in the UK this Saturday.
The other hotly-rumored signing – that of Athena – has yet to be confirmed by a a reliable source. If it’s true, her timeline might line up with Kana and Nikki’s and see her join the roster in November.
