Last night at Chikara’s Top Banana event, Kimber Lee made history by becoming the first woman to win the CHIKARA Grand Championship.

Kimber, who also currently holds the SHIMMER Tag Team Titles, the WSU Tag Team Titles, the Legacy Wrestling Women’s Championship and the MCW Women’s Championship, won the belt by cashing in a previously earned title opportunity on champion Hallowicked right after he retained the title in a Triple Threat match.

Kimber celebrated the huge win on Instagram, posing alongside fellow history maker Heidi Lovelace, who became the first woman to win CHIKARA’s Young Lions Cup last year:

Kimber is the fourth person to hold the title, which was established in 2011.

CHIKARA’s Top Banana event is available for streaming pre-order now on CHIKARAPro.com.
