Fastlane Results: Sasha Banks conquers Nia Jax

Tonight at Fastlane, the rivalry between Sasha Banks and Nia Jax continued as the two Superstars squared off on the final PPV before WrestleMania.

Sasha relied on speed early on, attacking Nia with dropkicks but Nia brushed them off. Nia played to her strength throughout the match by tossing Sasha across the ring, placing her in various submission maneuvers and shouting out some insults in between.

Sasha attempted to fight back at a turnbuckle but Nia would use this as a way to trap Sasha over her shoulders into a squatting torture rack.

Sasha would turn the tables by reversing Nia’s torture rack into a guillotine hold and then sleeper hold. As Nia was nearing to escape Sasha’s sleeper hold, the Boss landed a tornado DDT and locked in the Bank Statement to a grounded Nia.

Nia fought through the Bank Statement and was able to take Sasha down with a chokeslam, following it up a leg drop to Sasha’s back. Just as Nia scooped up Sasha for another slam, Sasha reversed this by sliding from Nia’s clutches and pinned her into a bridged roll-up.

What did you think of the match?
