New PROGRESS Women’s Champion crowned

PROGRESS hosted their Chapter 69 event, “Be Here Now”, at the Victoria Warehouse in Manchester, Great Manchester, England UK this past Sunday on May 20th, 2018. The women were the main event on the card and the match did not disappoint. The match was for the PROGRESS Women’s Championship, and it involved rivals Toni Storm (c) versus Jinny.

Based on the source of, Squared Circle Sirens, Jinny, who has been rivaling Storm for months, was finally able to capture the title.

Jinny took to Twitter to celebrate her win:

After a near 20 minute match, Jinny wins the match with a roll up pin victory on Storm with some help from the interfering House of Couture (Chakara & Nina Samuels). This defeat to Storm ended her 357 day reign. Storm defended the belt 14 times in the near year of her reign.

After the match, Storm did state she was not finished with Jinny.

PROGRESS took to Twitter to show Storm hitting a Strong Zero to Jinny on the stage and also congratulating Jinny on her victory:
