RISE 8 – Outback Results, RISE of the Knockouts this week

RISE 8 – Outback took place on Friday, June 29, in South Gate, CA. Chaos continued in the tag division as a variety of teams are making their last push to become the first Guardians of RISE Tag Team Champions. Delilah Doom also put her belt on the line against former champion Shotzi Blackheart.

Results courtesy of RISE below:

  • Champion Delilah Doom defended the title against former Champion, Shotzi Blackheart. In an all-out war that saw action spill everywhere inside and outside of the ring, the twenty-minute time limit expired. Both competitors wanted five more minutes, fans chanted for five more minutes. Five more minutes were granted, followed by an immediate onslaught by Paradise Lost and Rosemary, causing the match to be thrown out.
  • Paradise Lost (Dust and Raven Ash) with Rosemary defeated Fight for Evers (Taya Valkyrie and Rachael Ellering)
  • Team Blue Nation (Charli Evans and Jessica Troy)  defeated The Killer Baes (Laura James and Heather Monroe)
  • Wily Smilies (Kylie Rae and Miranda Alize) defeated Nicole Matthews and Ayoka Muharah (Matthews selection from the Seminar to replace Madison Eagles).
  • Britt Baker defeated Bones of Contention, allowing Fire and Nice to advance to the final
  • Mercedes Martinez defeated Kris Wolf, Shazza McKenzie and Kimber Lee in a Four Way Elimination Match.

RISE will present its next event RISE 9: Rise of the Knockouts, along with another round of weekly RISE-ASCENT tapings, this Saturday July 7 and July 8, in Naperville, IL.

The card will include a rematch between Delilah Doom and Shotzi Blackheart, allowing the the title to be defended in a 30-Minute Iron Woman Match.

IMPACT Knockouts Champion “The Bloody Undead Bride” Su Yung defends against The Godmother of RISE, Saraya Knight in a falls count anywhere match.

A four corners elimination match will take place between Paradise Lost, Team Blue Nation, Wily Smiles, and Fire & Nice to crown the first tag team champions.

Tessa Blanchard will face off against Kris Wolf.

Allie will compete against Mercedes Martinez. Both are coming off a roll in their careers, with Allie being a former Knockouts Champion and Mercedes steamrolling the competition.

Madison Rayne will take on up and comer Kikyo.

Due to illness, Madison Eagles will be unable to travel to the United States. The triple threat featuring Eagles will now be a one on one contest between Kimber Lee and Shazza McKenzie. In the Four Way Elimination Match at RISE 8, Kimber found herself eliminated by Shazza. Kimber stayed and ringside and waited for the opportune time to attach Shazza, opening the door of opportunity for Mercedes Martinez to score the elimination. These two meet with bad blood already starting to boil between them.

The Bones of Contention (Ray Lyn and Karen Q) are looking to get back into immediate title contention for the Guardians of RISE. They’ll face the Twizted Sisterz (Holidead and Thunder Rosa).

RISE also announced upcoming matches for the ASCENT tapings. Tessa Blanchard will face Madison Rayne, Deonna Purrazzo takes on Kylie Rae, Jessicka Havok vs Allie, and more.

RISE 9 will be broadcast on Twitch Saturday, July 7 through a partnership with Impact Wrestling.
