Sasha Banks takes shots at Ronda Rousey and Brock Lesnar

The last time Sasha Banks held the WWE Raw Women’s Championship was August 28, 2017. After winning a recent no. one contender match against Nia Jax, Banks landed a date with current champion Ronda Rousey at the Royal Rumble.

On Friday, Banks took to Twitter to take jabs at not just Raw Women’s Championship Ronda Rousey, but WWE’s Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar. Banks would first tweet an image of her and Bayley at a WWE Live Event with the caption “Making towns like it’s 1993,” meaning she is at every event, even if it is not televised.

Banks would follow that tweet with this message for both champions:

Banks is one of the WWE Universe’s most beloved superstars because of her work ethic and her dedication to her craft, just like WWE Hall of Famer Bret “The Hit Man” Hart and her idol, Hall of Famer Eddie Guerrero. For nearly two years, Banks has been scheduled in matches that were on the undercard of the Raw platform, after losing the belt to Alexa Bliss.

Fans were surprised to see Banks in the championship match, but can’t help think the match could be leading to the Horsewomen vs. Horsewomen match the world is waiting to see.

We will see what happens between Rousey and Banks Monday night on Raw, as their story builds towards this year’s Royal Rumble.

Tune into Raw Monday nights at 8 p.m. EST, and get ready for the Royal Rumble, scheduled for Jan. 27 in Phoenix, on the WWE Network.
