Ronda Rousey is after the Women’s Tag Team Championships

Sunday night, WWE posted a video on Twitter of Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey and her ally in the ring, Natalya.

In the video, the pair have harsh words for Sasha Banks and Bayley, referencing the upcoming championship match between Rousey and Banks, and the newly unveiled WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.

On tonight’s Raw, Rousey and Natalya will face Banks and Bayley, the Boss & Hug Connection, in a tag team match that Rousey is selling as a preview for Royal Rumble and the tag team title landscape.

The cameraman ask Natalya and Rousey if they have any comments regarding their upcoming match on Raw.

“Yeah, I’ll let you guys know that tomorrow night is a blockbuster dream match for Sasha and Bayley, the Boss & Hug Connection. Because guess what, Sasha and Bayley? You are taking on the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be,” Natalya starts.

“Tomorrow, I am going to give Sasha a taste of what’s coming for her at the Royal Rumble, and we are going to give the world a taste of what’s coming for them for the Women’s Tag Team Championships,” Rousey added. “And besides, The Boss and Hug Connection has way too many syllables for it to catch on.”

Ronda ends the video by promising the pair are “not taking it easy, tomorrow”.

With Ronda holding the current Raw title, it’s hard to imagine that, assuming she kept the title, she would be able to participate in the upcoming inaugural WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match, scheduled to take place as a Elimination Chamber match in the upcoming pay-per-view. With WWE, though, anything is possible.

Tune into WWE Royal Rumble on Jan. 27 live from Phoenix, and watch this week’s Raw, tonight at 8 p.m. EST, to see if Rousey and Natalya can back up their claims.

Do you think Ronda and Natalya should have a shot at the tag team titles?
