Sasha Banks and Bayley qualify for Elimination Chamber

The Elimination Chamber Women’s Tag Team Title match is just about set. Tonight, Sasha Banks and Bayley became the last Raw tag team to qualify for the chance to be the inaugural Women’s Tag Team Champions.

The Boss ‘N’ Hug Connection won the final qualifying match against the team of Nikki Cross and Alicia Fox, after Cross and Fox jumped them on the way to the ring. Bayley did most of the heavy lifting because Sasha reportedly suffered an injury in her match with Ronda Rousey.

Nonetheless, the Hugger managed to surprise Alicia with a roll-up to secure the win. The match that didn’t show off any of the team’s flashy tandem offense, but they have to be one of the favorites to win the tag titles.

They will enter the Elimination Chamber with Nia Jax and Tamina, The Riott Squad, the IIconics, and Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville. The last team from SmackDown will likely be revealed tomorrow night.

Considering the other two teams from the Blue Brand didn’t have a qualifying match, there will probably be an announcement or backstage segment. Odds are Naomi, and a partner of her choosing, will enter to challenge Mandy and Sonya.

It could be what their rivalry has been building up to all along. Now, who will be Naomi’s partner?

Naomi and Lana are a partnership WWE has teased a lot, in 2018. The duo seemed to become reluctant friends after the dance-off segment and the backstage segment with the cast of GLOW. Incidentally, they’ve worked live events as a team, and Lana says the team has been in the making for three years.

However, Lana is currently nursing an injury sustained at Royal Rumble. That leaves only one possible substitute, Carmella. Admittedly, Lana would make more sense, but Team Dance Break could be the final team.
